- Like a rocket ship headed to the moon, Lucy Charles-Barclay's triathlon career took off immediately.
In no time she had transformed from a complete novice to one of the best professional triathletes in the world and now she had her sights set on one of the biggest prizes in the sport: the Ironman World Championship at Kona.
However, her incredible success would stall following a string of second place finishes and multiple injuries. Would Lucy's determination and drive allow her to overcome all the setbacks and deliver that dream performance on the Hawaiian island?

When she won in kona i was in tears and jumped around the living room at early hours. Amazing race. Amazing athlete. 🎉
Lucy has showed the whole world by winning the World Championships in KONA at the fifth time of asking that she is capable of anything in this sport. She is incredible and has laser focus on the races ahead, and I have no doubt she win win a T100 race. By the way, she should of won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year too!!

She lacked the COURAGE to go to NICE, France, now she lacks the COURAGE to go to PTO T100 San Fran, No COURAGE whatsoeva!!! Virgo Bud, you are letting all Virgos around the world! : ( Her rationaliztion, she needs to prepare for PTO T100 London, of course she needs to represent her home Turf, but unfortunately not all TOP ladies will be there (Taylor Knibb, Taylor Spivey, Katy Zaffares) they will in Paris Olympics focused training, Btw, Virgo Bud as well lacked the COURAGE to make Team GB for Paris Olympics! GG! All the best Virgo Bud! Unfortuinately you do not have the Running SPEED to podium at T100 events!!!!!!!!!

What courage have you got? Easy to judge from the sidelines. As if taking on a full IM and winning it, and doing a shit load of elite-level triathlons is not courageous. It's not as simple as just jumping into these things. Injury and timing are huge determining factors for being ready or not to do any race. PS. She podiumed at the last two T100 events.
Absolute bollocks. The fuck do you know about her reasons for not competing in certain events? And who are you to expect someone to compete in a THIRD consecutive T100 event after making the podium at the last 2?
Understand that you won't know anything about someone else's situation... so reign in the unjustified criticism.
