Pat is a fascinating guy. As a Brit, I want Americans to be like him! But watching this on the final (third) day of the first LIV tournament....ie. rebounded Saudi golf league...be great to get him back soon to review the LIV events and impact on world golf.

Man, I like someone who is honest, but he surely lacks class. Obviously doesn’t like Mickelson which could easily be a jealousy issue since they are similar in age and Mickelson is a top15 of all time while Perez is a journeyman. Then he trashes on Rai, a golfer he’s never met and played behind once. Again, I like the openness, but kind of a jerk IMO

That was a banging podcast, Pat Perez is a breath of fresh air. Open and honest and totally agree on media pip payment, that should be instead be given to the field a $5000 min wage to survive on the PGA. How many jobs where your a free agent you get a pension pot in later life.

I would absolutely agree Phil wa as working for Phil. It's not a team sport, there is no players union. If he were successful it would have made more money for the players. The PGA tour has made mo wy for a lot of players and charities. The charities angle keep corporate sponsors. There aren't enough viewers to survive without the sponsors, that's why the other money sources are even considered. To suggest that any of the parties is not looking out for themselves over the "game" is a fallacy. I follow PP, but all of us know why he would be supporting a move by 40 top players. It isn't that he thinks golf would be better, his bank account would be better. Who could blame him? PGA frowns on appearance monies, Pat advocates for a minimum amount to all players. If they had a players union that would be possible. To not have one then if the PGA allowed appearance money, who would get it? Not number 125, not even number 50 if they weren't popular with the fan base. The stars would collect the money and those sad stories would continue about guys who failed out of the gate. If you want team sport benefits, you would need to unite with one voice. Good luck with that in an individual based entertainment industry

Let's revisit this now, three months later lol I still love Pat and a few of the others who have went the LIV route. I've been interested in it. I'm in the minority but....I'm a follower.
