The audio of the clip is not encrypted. This cause this weird effect on the descrambling from the Canal+ Syster receiver since it used to decrypt the audio by changing the tones according to the video. Therefore the audio get's encrypted while you decrypt the video.
I think this is only the open crypt for open crypted transmissions to the customer. If the Syster System use the open crypt is going be very fast to decode like this. If the other cryption is coming the decoder need much more time to decode this signal. Also the Audio is from the Transmission not inverted that you can here on the Music.
You need a recording from the period when your subscription was active, and the recording has to be high enough quality to read the data (VHS wears off over time)
Cool - i like this work! what i would like to know is the 32lines are stored first for the reason that the Syster don't have a full frame Video-memory is that correct? 2nd do they store the Burst also per line I remember that the left side line is standing still and that means that the burst is still on each line correct. 3rd you encode in open crypt that is not a selective cryption for each customer white-key and if how you code this? 4th I think you made a black/with counter and fill in the lines to found out where is the 32lines scrambled is that correct? what is the rotation of this blocks? i.e. first frame 32,46,62...14,2,28 block end - how much blocks are scrambled there? The master question can you upload a complete film hear and decode it per download ect. Maybe with our old Software Decoder? But i don't have no mire the old sources and so on everything was lost. The software decoder for the iteration calculation (what is 'near by' calc) old one white line in the bottom block for founding the first line in the top block on the screen to find out where are the iteration start. Yes, 32 lines per field is used for line memory. Burst in PAL is not permuted at all but I believe it is in secam. This was all two years in the making... Software was used to find permutations and sequences hard coded in for use with a real Premiere key. Recently PRBS for seeds was discovered as well so no need to store actual permutation s,r values in. All code is on author's Github github.com/fsphil/hacktv
Funny how you're decrypting signal with unencrypted sound using a decoder that assumes encrypted sound. Whuch means that the decoder was from different region than the recording, but somehow the keys still work. So either the keys were global and worked in all countries regardless of where you subscribed, or there were duplicate IDs in different regions.

It's called spectrum inversion.
It is using SSB Modulation (LSB).

take a Teleclub Decoder and the Audio will be clear because there was no Audio inversion. hehe
Funnily when you decrypt the video. The audio is encrypted, but the audio sounds like an actual train ride. 😂

Hacktv supports audio inversion now so squeaky mouse noises now get properly "decoded"
