I really have to learn mastering my beats as i feel like that gives it that little bit of extra boost to make the beat go even harder. This video was very useful, especially the part where you use halftime to add like the lower bass part ^^
Sometimes simple is better but its all personal preference. Most hits and popular songs are pretty simple. Zaytoven can tend to overplay a lot which is good instrumental speaking but doesn't leave room for the other sounds to breathe. On a classical playing perspective he is very talented though fs.
