Man I love this video. so cool to even own those three, let alone have all three running, let alone all three running on the same boat! i've only owned ski boats but things like this really bring out my admiration for small outboards. cheers from southern California.
Glad you liked it. These old Mercury motors in particular are getting harder to keep running. It’s was fun for me to make it and I have lots more to show! Thanks for the nice comment.
My youth was putting a 1958 35 Johnson on an 8 foot pram. Holy crap we nailed 2x4s on the transom to the front gunnel to hold it on the pram and fly it did, Literally ! this was in about 1972
Oh man, that gave me a good laugh. 🤣 That's livin on the edge there! I had one just like the little 5 horse, they aint gonna turn my 6 and 7.5 into razor blades though. I love the black one, Mercury really nailed it with that year models. Fun video, thanks for sharing!
I'm just curious. What will that truck be worth on completion? 100,000 but probably much more. Beautiful job. Been watching since the start. Truly amazing. Thanks for sharing. Your an artist.❤
Now you're a guy who knows how to have fun! I've got to try that! I've got the same three motors; almost. I have a Mark 5, a white 1960 9.8....and a 1964 29HP! We should have a race!
I had four on a little tinny one day and still didn't get to 20 hp. Can't remember what they all were, but they made lots of smoke when you got them all warming up.
Looks like it's time to get serious about a sponsor. Seafair is coming up, and we should see if Chip Hanaur will coach. I think that setup has potential
Sounds great man. You were flyin too!

That's wonderful. The only thing better than 2 outboards is 3. ❤
4 would be better I was fooling around with a skinny Mark6. Almost fits. May be my next video

Good memories for sure, get yourself a boat and do it again!!

One of my favorite videos to make. Testing my boat to fit 4 on it. I think I can squeeze a 1959 Mark6 on.
@@islandtoybox nice. I have the wizard version of a 57 mark 6. Daredevil safely.

When I saw the thumbnail with these three engines I knew I would hear the sound of a three part harmony.
Thank You! Glad you liked it. It’s getting harder to keep these old Mercury engines running so it’s nice that folks appreciate them still.

Good man! Don’t let a day go by without some fun.
I miss that sound of the outboard motors .
@@creativehandsnc Glad you liked it, maybe someday you can get again

@@mrfingers4737 I’ve noticed the weight really affects the top speed. More is not faster but way cooler!
@islandtoybox yeah i think it went just as fast with one 6 or 7 hp
Your my hero!
Glad you liked it!
