Great another incremental improvement to a tool that improves every year. Milwaukee already makes one. How about making a cordless 90 degree die grinder now. So I don’t have to buy the Milwaukee version!
@jonathansaindon788 You're right. I'm coming up on 25 years as a GC. For the average job, you can make do with either an impact or a drill in a pinch. It may not be extremely efficient as a 9 to 5 and there's certain tasks where it's best not to do with an impact, but in most cases it can certainly be done. There was a time where I had my truck broken into at the Home Depot parking lot. I only had an impact, and I purchased a Chuck attachment that you can attach to an impact, to use bits not impact ready. Not ideal obviously, but it gets the job done. Particularly if you're not working with tasks that may easily strip such as cabinet hardware or door-hinges. Pretty nifty.
@@Dewalthasmymoney The chuck adapter is a good idea. I could use this for now. I wanted to pair it with a DCD805 but I find the clutch very stiff for no reason.
Depends on what you are after really, this one still felt super strong even though it doesn't have as much torque - it is a fair bit quieter and feels like a nicer form factor too. If you pop down to your nearest TradeTools stores I'm sure one of our sales staff came assist with a comparison :)

@@caseyschmidt6532 don't forget the supply chain issue and took me 4 months to get my FLEX COMPACT IMPACT WRENCH
Can you demonstrate difference between speed 1 and speed 2 by driving various small to medium size screws?

As someone with no power tools this will replace a drill and a driver for the time being
this cant replace a drill. No chuck... drils also allow better control.
@@maddawgzzzz It can with 1/4 drill bits. Did you miss the “for the time being” part?
I’m not a professional.

Is the 18v a typo? DeWalt website says 20v
18v in the UK
No typo! Check it out here: www.tradetools.com/dewalt-18v-xr-brushless-cordless-hydraulic-impact-driver-skin-dcf870n-xj
Is it the Best so far from the DeWalt or dcf 860 is still stornger and faster?
It’s just as fast, but has way less torque, this has 50nm and the 860 has 280nm of torque
