Amazing pull! Love the tier list. I had a lot of keys from the goblin shop hoarded up so I pulled in these last two forge events as well. I definitely prefer spending some gems in these over treaties and many other things you listed below high priority

Great video, first one done in this way. A few minor suggestions: I would move treaties higher than arrows because you can get the latter ones solo; to get treaties you need to be in an active alliance. I would also put speedups first in the Borderline section. If your aim is to unlock T5 and if you're spending gems for items in that category, speedups is the way to go.
@@Azballa84 you are wrong about treaties vs arrows, and I am speaking from experience. Arrows take far longer to grind, and with the addition of cross-warband rallies, you now are easily able to rally forts with a farm account. Speedups can be argued over, however using speedups results in expensive short-term gains, and I believe that long term (which realistically should be your goal) you will be better served if you invest in artifacts.
@@JustKillam From my experience it took me longer to get the treaties vs arrows, although I did so when the hero levels got reset so you had to grind for arrows anyway. So, I take your point. Regarding artifacts, they get replaced with better ones in the future. T5 is here to stay, unless they get replaced with T6; if we use RoK as an example, that still hasn't happened in all the years that the game has been out. Besides, the benefit you get from having T5 far outweighs the benefit you get from having a max artifact.

Remember that this is a gem spend guide for f2p/low spend, not for people that are maxing artifacts lol Also, if you rally forts in a suboptimal way (which I proved with math in this video) it will take you a substantially longer amount of time. Whereas with arrows you always get the maximum possible amount, so while the yield is WAY lower, if you're rallying forts with 4-5 people, the arrows are faster.

Yeah, I could do a whole video debating this tbh. I think what it comes down to is how much VIP generation do you have per day. How many additional gold heads would you get for spending X amount of gems. I'm really not sure, as I was blessed enough to get VIP15 without spending gems.

@@wheaties8941 yeah. Inorder to get t5 all of your training buildings will need to be 25 anyways, and one of your hospitals. You could choose to wait to upgrade them for an event if you like, but the extra stats + daily free healing is nice.
I would lower artifacts you can get 5 weekly and most players pull without 270 keys in bank and get trapped into pulling a lot of gems for bad artifacts. Been there done that and got 2 resource gathering artifacts.

I've gotten some push back as to how valuable this event is/isn't, I'd encourage you to read one of the longer comments here where there's some criticism of the video
Treaties take longer, no matter what math was shown here (or it's a question about luck). Either case the math is useless anyway due to the fact how stupidly random the mechanic are for especially Fort rewards. You can run 6 level 12 in a row and just get 1 Treaty, then a few of them maybe grant 4-5. It's extremely rare you land on 7 and max treaties is about the same as winning the lottery. This is why getting the treaties done first feels so much better, since I'm F2P as it unlocks your ability to start on Hospital and Wall, so your Tower can prepare in the meantime towards Research Building level 25. Arrows are random as hell too, but far easier to go out and bust at any time as many events require you to kill Darklings, daily requirement, and many "old" players have managed more arrows due to hero resets per season. Hero reset is no longer a thing though, but it just motivates others to level up all their other heroes now providing more time getting arrows. My tower was way ahead in terms of levels without using gems on arrows, while Rally Beacon had to be helped CONSTANTLY with gems. Arrows also drop their highest amount when it happens, rather than random quantity. One major issue with the list is also how much gem access you have, since if you're placed in a whale alliance you can be "whoopie doo!", but that's not the case for all of us. Elixir weekly on the shop is based on season situation, since not all have so much warfare going on. You're likely to be in the thick of it, when you're in a massive alliance due to whack matchmakings. In most cases I've found Elixir to be a complete waste, since it's rare you end up in situations where you have to go nuts on it and end with a season with Elixir gathering dust. Focus on spending merit for pet skills and speed ups instead. Teleport can be bought at critical situations, but if you're using a farm account to supply yourself, then spend the downtime doing constructions for alliance coins and buy teleports this way. I also like how the list mentioned "artifact throwback". "It will only cost you 60k gems!" said like it's casual amounts as a F2P. It isn't. I get that the approach to spend gems towards heroes and artifacts seem like an option, however given that they change and new are released, they feel more wasted based on how things can change. It should be very limited, like unlocking a certain hero and just get hero tokens through daily VIP/Events. Securing T5 first is the biggest step even with basic heroes to which you can fight with the strongest troops. Grabbing stuff before T5 is like buying accessories for the car you haven't bought yet. The rest of it I can agree with.

This isn't as random as you think it is, as over the course of thousands of rallies it will become extremely even. You only think it's uneven because of the von Restorff effect. Yes, if you rally forts with 3 or more people, it will take more than twice as long as rallying lower level forts by yourself with a farm account, and substantially longer than just doing duo forts. For arrows, yes old players(myself included) have more arrows than treaties. But this tier list, or at least those entries on it, aren't aimed at people who have already finished one or the other. 100 gems/week on elixir is insanely high value, if not to buy the elixir then to buy the pet skills, etc. Which I'm pretty sure I mentioned? You can buy some teleportation items with alliance credits, but IMO you need to first buy migration permits, and you also need to be gathering mana. That doesn't leave a lot of time for slow builds. It takes longer to get the speedups to push t5 than it does to get the treaties/arrows, which is why I suggest spending on the artifact throwback, and wheel of destiny. The wheel of destiny is even better now, as you can get any four heroes you want. 60k gems = 83d of speedups(8hrs) IMO this is worth it, instead of getting your t5 slightly sooner. You'd have to buy treaties/arrows too to get t5 faster. Having hero unlocks/artifacts greatly increases your combat effectiveness. 60k gems/yr =1153/week, which Is achievable (now) very easily And to fit your analogy, rushing t5 by dumping >100k gems into it, is like overpaying for your car. It also makes you look like a rude dude for not accepting allies, because as I said the mechanic for rally rewards are stupid. It has nothing to do with an "effect". The 50% I assume you pulled from CS on Discord, but it's entirely wrong when put into calculation. Which isn't surprising as CS don't play the game, period. Heroes and artifacts have an impact on troops, but no matter how you paint it the T5 are the primary blunt force on the field. As I mentioned even if you unlock some heroes/artifacts you might look at them being in a more rough spot than assumed. You can't overpay a car in my analogy, because you can use the car the moment you have it. That's the whole point. Not what it costs. Getting accessories to a car you can't use in a similar fashion is just as expensive, and even then the accessories might get nerfed/tweaked before use resulting in a bad investment.

But if I added every detail, it'd be two hours long Destiny tickets will run you 9k gems/season(45k total), but you won't see a payoff for ~250 days from your first purchase(you need to purchase them at the start of five unique seasons) The throwback event is also 60k gems not 30k. If you have literally no legendary artifacts for your desired troop type, doing the anointed artifact compendium can be good value(30k gems) The game's anniversary is also in March: so consider that the event is presumably 248 days away. Are you 100% f2p, or low spend? That'd change my answer a lot
If you're low spend, you can unlock a strongest Lord hero for $10-$30 instead of spending 45k gems, which is higher value. This makes spending on your first anointed compendium more valuable

@@conch_ I mean future strongest Lord heroes. Right now since you're in season one, those heroes are just gold key commanders. But later some heroes will only be available in either the strongest Lord, wheel of destiny, or the daily special offer. If you're willing to be spend a bit, you can also wait until the hero comes into the daily special offer, which is typically a month and a half after the first TSL, for real TSL heroes. (Syndrion, forondil, goresh, tohar, etc.)

Thanks for the content, but I think this is bad advice. Usually the players who do the same in the video open the first T5 troops at 60m+. With the new kingdom selection, this is a terrible result and garbage power. A good alliance will not want to take a player with empty power. Unless you are an ABSOLUTE f2p and can buy a builder with money, you should ONLY spend gems on arrows. You can buy teleports as needed, but try not to waste them just like that. Never buy VIP (in a good alliance you will open 8 quite quickly). Never buy elixirs...t4 troops are treated for very cheap resources. You can buy roulette tickets for a hero, but only to get it. We don’t waste any more gems. NO spending on artifacts from the forge.
@@savagecuppatea I would definitely recommend that for a medium spender, or a low spender that spends around $50/mo. But for f2p, unless you want to stunt your accounts long term growth, you can't just think about t5.

With the new kingdom selection, this is a terrible result and garbage power. A good alliance will not want to take a player with empty power. Unless you are an ABSOLUTE f2p and can buy a builder with money, you should ONLY spend gems on arrows.
You can buy teleports as needed, but try not to waste them just like that. Never buy VIP (in a good alliance you will open 8 quite quickly). Never buy elixirs...t4 troops are treated for very cheap resources. You can buy roulette tickets for a hero, but only to get it. We don’t waste any more gems. NO spending on artifacts from the forge.

@@savagecuppatea I would definitely recommend that for a medium spender, or a low spender that spends around $50/mo. But for f2p, unless you want to stunt your accounts long term growth, you can't just think about t5.
I dont understand the part about destiny tickets. Its not guaranteed you 2 tsl heroes

Now it guarantees four TSL heroes too, not just two.
