I've been doing winter pruning on a Comice pear we planted a few years ago, and perhaps that is why we haven't had blossoms for two years in a row (we have another young pear - Red Anjou - that does have some blossoms this year, but I think that's pure luck). I just removed a lot of grass around my trees, and added some compost and organic fruit tree fertilizer, topped with mulch to deter weeds. I'm very frustrated with myself because it's clear I'm doing something wrong with my pruning, but I am determined to learn how to care for my trees properly. Your video was very helpful - thank you!
Thanks you - just added two pears to my orchard
Very informative, thank you!

I had some Asian pear, so I watched a lot of clips. I'm confusing. I think the best way is later winter or early spring ...
