    A lot of technology isn't always good, sometimes simple is better and Winning Velcro is the case. Someone thinks it's not secure and flimsy, but in my opinion this is the best gloves with Velcro fastening. Coming with perfect length - end never sticks out, making it impossible for sudden opening, also the absence of edging on Velcro belt is also adding secure and tight fit, so you won't scratch your partner, as it happens with other gloves, unless you tape them additionally. And Winning Velcro will LAST!

      Those are all fair points and I agree more technology isn’t always better. I’m a huge huge Winning fan and these gloves are incredible but given how good the rest of the globe is I’d personally like a better wrist strap. Just my opinion, thanks for the message my friend 😊👊

      Seconds Out Fight Store I understand what you mean. But again, Winning's Velcro is the most functional, providing great fit, comparing to other gloves (Grant, Reyes, Rival, Everlast, Hayabusa, Venum, Ringside, Title, Thai brands, you name it) and will outlast all of them. Guaranteed.

      @@Irlandets Winning have very little wrist support in the velcro. Always have to wrap my wrist like a mummy whenever i use em, but its ok as the rest of the gloves so protective so you dont need to wrap your knuckles much

    @Seconds Out Fight Store Two questions. Please help. My hands 19.5 cm long and 21.7 cm circumference around knuckles. I’m 5’ 10” tall. Should I go with 12 oz. or 14 oz.? I plan on using them for training, including some bag work. Also, does the model with the wide velcro wrist strap provide good wrist protection?

    Hi Ross, how would you say these compare to the Cleto Extra Padding that you own? I'm looking at either getting the Winning MS-600-B or the Cleto Reyes Extra Padding as I'm a beginner and want maximum protection and high quality. After your experience with both, would you say the Winning is worth spending twice the cost? Do you think the Cleto Extra Padding version would be a more appropriate contender against the Winning as compared to the Cleto original version? I would use them as an all purpose glove since I can't buy multiple version, but I have Fairtex BGV1's now and have already injured my knuckles with those and want more protection so I can keep punching without hurting myself! Thanks!

    • @SecondsOutFightStore
      @SecondsOutFightStore  3 года назад +1

      Without sounding disrespectful mate at a beginner level I don’t think you’ll get any extra value from buying a pair of Winnings. The Reyes gloves are excellent and I’d definitely recommend them. That being said if you have your heart set on a pair of Winning’s then of course I’d go for them. But otherwise I’d keep your £200 extra and go for the Cleto’s extra padded.
      Hope that’s of some help 😃

    • @sm208
      @sm208 3 года назад +1

      @@SecondsOutFightStore Thanks man, that's reassuring as I can't justify the extra expense now and Cleto's and still some sexy gloves! Do you feel the Cleto extra padding provides comparable protection as the Winning?

    • @SecondsOutFightStore
      @SecondsOutFightStore  3 года назад

      @@sm208 yeh similar amount of padding the Cleto’s just feel much stiffer than Winning and take some breaking in. Winning is made from a softer leather so has that broken in feel already. But my extra padded Reyes while still not as soft as Winning feel even better after a couple weeks

    Would I be able to get custom winning Velcro gloves from you? If I’m gonna spend a lot on gloves might as well go all the way, just want to get some gloves with my initials on them to make them less desirable.

  • @wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667
    @wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 3 года назад +2

    I don't like these at the price point. I love the lace up version though. It's because of 2 things 1 the velcro strap and 2 no padding on the face/palm and inside of the wrist. But that's not a problem with the lace up version

  • @peejuu
    @peejuu 3 года назад +1

    Would you happen to know if the winning gloves in the standard colours black blue red and white are sealed? Leather is sealed as in waterproofing like with paint on some leather shoes.

    • @SecondsOutFightStore
      @SecondsOutFightStore  3 года назад +1

      Hi to be honest I’m not sure. It’s not advertised anywhere so I’d lean towards saying it doesn’t. But don’t know for sure

      @@SecondsOutFightStore thanks for the reply the reason why I ask is they also have the leather maintenance kit available and if the leather is already sealed it sort of defeats the purpose of adding the sports oil.

    I have the 10 oz MS300B and the 14OZ laceup and as much as I like them, I have too many gloves to say these are truly worth it for the price... Fantastic gloves, probably my best, but tbh there's so many great gloves out there for the price it aint too worth it imo. The headgear is the absolute best though. FG2900.

    I tried winning on without wraps and it was a HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT
    They were super soft, literally no wrist support and one more thing, there is an extra grip bar at the tip of my fingers, and I don’t like it. Maybe it sounds foolish but my Rival RS 100 is much more comfortable and feels better quality with much better wrist support

    I got 14 oz lace up from rakuten japan, got them for 5 years now and they still in great shape 💯.... So I decided to buy a new pair, so I ordered a pair of 14 oz lace up from kozuji, and the gloves I got were nowhere near my 14 oz that I bought several years ago ,, the new ones I got were nothing I would like to have even for free . Bad feeling, bad padding, too tight and not the same quality over all,, shame they selling trash gloves brand of winning 🤦🏼‍♂️

    Just tried exactly the same gloves (also 14Oz velcro) recently and feel like ok but not too amazed, perhaps nowadays too many improved and advanced gloves in the market. If Winning chooses to stick to the legacy without improvement, I think their market penetration rate could start to fall soon.

      Yeh there is a lot of tech put into boxing gloves these days. And when you look at the Winning wrist strap vs something like Rival, Fly or Cleto Reyes example it’s mad the difference!

    • @aryanpugilist
      @aryanpugilist 3 года назад +2

      No chance!!! Winning makes absolute top of the range gloves! The strap means fuck all really. Yes, it could be a little longer or whatever, but at the end of the day, you put them on and punch like nothing else! They will last longer than any of these modern bullshit "high tech" gloves!

      @@CrownedOneBoxing depends what you are using them for and how much. Ring to Cage gloves are generally fairly similar to Winning, but still nothing compares to Winning gloves. I've had my 14oz pair since March and they are like brand new, just with a few little scuffs and a slightly worse smell.
