I have a question. I have a simliar model (TCL 40DS50*) which I want to upgrade to android version which support a Screen Mirroring. I do not know if its possible but if it is, I would love if you can help me with that by telling me how to do that.
You can add a streaming box to use android otherwise not possible,

Same here but there is no solution for this tv because it is Linux os and top of that there is a TCL launcher which has limited apps there is only one option that you can add a Android box to it and you can enjoy everything. There is not much reviews on the tv but Android box will work properly with it

Bro thanks for the jnformative video.. I own TCL L65P1US and I've tried what you showed in the video. Neither the TV is recognising the bin file in the pendrive through internal update not its working by the pressing and holding the power key. Your help would be much appreciated. No bro don't do such mistakes if your tv running fine then no worry if you update via USB or anything 100% motherboard will go dead this tv do not has much well built software updates dont do that mistakes
All softwares need to be downloaded manually and transferred to fat 32 usb , plug it into tv , unplug cable ,press power button from tv , plug power cable while keep pressing the power button , managed to update my 55p2us model , later on install new play store and services , lately netflix stopped working still didnt figure out why

I have also similar model now it is been 6years now the display backlit has gone previously 2years back also i had a motherboard issue and the motherboard get replaced and cost about 5500 and this tv os sucks there is no useful apps and very limited apps because of its Linux os and any problem occurs then there is no much reviews on it now we are decided to buy new one. but the tv is built very tough it has metal built the display backlight has been gone but if we decrease brightness of the backlight 70 percent it will work fine. But very bad experience interms of software and motherboard.
