The 2024 World YoYo Contest was held in Cleveland, Ohio and brought together 229 contestants from 27 countries, competing across 10 different divisions. From Canada to Qatar to Singapore, aspiring champions from all walks of life gathered to swap tricks, make friends, and show off their skill in search of a World Champion title.

This was hands down my favorite freestyle of the entire contest. Seeing Ryan hit trick after trick was so entertaining as well as exhilarating and left me jumping in celebration for him hearing his name called in first place. Congrats Ryan, you deserved this❤

I swear every year. Every year everyone gets better. And not just marginally. Every year I think to myself "yes, they'll all get better, but what more can you really do?" And every year I learn I'm an idiot lol Mir Kim in 1a just keeps leaving me speechless and recently 4a has really started to get to that same level on intricacy. Not to mention 3a, that's just stupid ridiculousness that I can't even comprehend. This was so great, everyone is just unbelievably incredible 💯👏🏼🇺🇸

Lmao they tried chanting USA. Typical americans. CRAZY to see a non asian win 1st place in 4a, thats really difficult. Although this is also the year hajime miura unfortunately discarded 3 times, nor did I get notified of wyyc 2024 live. 2024 is a different year for sure.
