The 2024 World YoYo Contest was held in Cleveland, Ohio and brought together 229 contestants from 27 countries, competing across 10 different divisions. From Canada to Qatar to Singapore, aspiring champions from all walks of life gathered to swap tricks, make friends, and show off their skill in search of a World Champion title.

Yeah, Jakub Dolejs is an Upper S-Class Yoyoer. His trickset are so intricate to land even in practice. I have a hard time to copy his elements.

Jakub Dolejs had more intricate tricks than Mir Kim. Actually i had a hard time to predict who wins between Mir & Jakub, because they are on the same Level.

@@Nen_Foryoku Problem is, since Mir's already a World Champion, he'll always have judges bias now. It's not a significant thing, but when two guys are sooo close like this, it'll only take very little.

@@maskless_zorro Yes, sometimes Competitive Yoyoing is inconsistent. Example is Takeshi Matsuura and Takuma Inoue. They are considered as GOAT of 5A.
But the funny thing is. Takeshi always surpass Takuma in World Contest, but in Japan National Takuma surpasses Takeshi. Sometimes it depends on the judging system or other judges are bias maybe because that particular judge holding a grudge or personal issue on you, HAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣

So because I’ve been out of the game for years, I don’t know who else may have done it in competition before this (other than Jakub obviously) but seeing someone do the Sid Seed straightjacket style like he did at 2:47, and doing it CLEAN in a finals freestyle, is absolutely insane.

@@Orlandotsao doesn’t surprise me at all. I think I remember that now that I’m thinking about it. Needless to say, not many people can pull it off. It takes a certain kind of player to do it, and do it well.
