yes!! especially when they arent separated or individually covered up so you dont get powder all over your creams. cream palettes in general remind me of kids makeup, especially when they have that untouched almost lip balmmy shiny texture on top.
And why woukd you want concealer and lip balm in there. They will be gone in like a month, long before you are even close to hit pan in any of the other products
No desire to invest in anything from this collection. The prices are inflated because they have Gigi's name on them. And the eyeshadow looks like a pain in the ass and if you are having troubles I don't stand a chance. Luv you tho hun thx for the review!!💄

same. supposedly its labeled as primer because it's a "contour primer" that you put UNDER foundation where you'd contour, but even so to me it looks much too orange to contour. maybe bronzer. it's definitely not as universal as they want it to be, though, with their less-than-bb-cream shade range.
Exactly. If it supposed to be that, state it on the front of the packaging.. not in the small print on the back... I’ve seen so many people use it as a regular primer because they were going on the whole “tinted primer” packaging. Just a huge miss for me.
The "Tinted Primer" isn't actually a face primer or a foundation Primer actually. It's a primer for contouring. In NYC for like Fashion Week and Fashion MUA, they actually contour then blend Foundation into it so it's more of a natural contour vs contour over foundation. Maybelline shouldn't have EVER labeled it just as a primer, they should have labeled it as "contour primer" and left better instructions on how to properly use it. Even is in the US on the West Coast was like "Ugh WTF?!". MUA on the East Coast knew right away when they saw it how it was supposed to be used. Even Maybelline posted on their IG Stories to use it like a contour base/contour primer under the foundation.
Jessica Marsh I'm in the west coast and in makeup school we were taught to contour first before foundation and that changed my life. Like you said it's much more natural :)
I don’t even understand why they would come out with that primer that was actually meant for contouring before foundation. I know a lot of celebrity makeup artist do that but normal people don’t want to add an extra step into their routine, if I do want to Contor before my foundation I’m going to just use my natasha denona contour kit because it’s my favorite and has both creams and powders.

I honestly hate the platte with the concealer and stuff. It was made for literally one skin tone with no consideration for any other. Like this would be better with a medium and dark version! I’m not saying she needs 40 versions of it but a little diversity goes a long way.

Yasmine Moradalizadeh A ton of people have tried these products and they didn't work out for them. Honestly Maybelline didn't even try with this line, they just sold old products with an instagram models name on the packaging and raised the price.
After you rubbed off the contour primer (i understand it was used incorrectly) it looked kind of pretty under the foundation in my opinion! I reckon it might actually look nice if used correctly. Would love to see that in a future video!
Even if the primer is for contouring under the foundation, that's a really lame contour shade, it's ORANGE. Even for warmer contour, that's waaay orange.

Well I'm not a beauty guru but I never used drugstore makeup..well unless you considered Avon drugstore...In my home country we have a similar brand to Avon called Tsu cosmeticos (cosmetics in spanish)and a vegan one called Natura. The only "drugstore" cosmetic I have is nail polish. I have recently started my makeup collection again and I have to say...makeup is expensive and founding a foundation that matches your skin tone in drugstore brand is hell to me. But now I'm working again so my money goes to crafts and make up...my husband hates it he is always kinda yelling ay me in the store "you don't need more make up, I just expend a fortune in your Christmas gift at sephora!!"..poor thing...he knew right there how much women suffer when they are broke and walk in at sephora to "window shopping"...argh...fml
Sam's Corner I think it's good that they have drugstore makeup. I mean their are still really good things in the drugstore brand that are better then high end stuff. I bought the black liquid liner from the collection and I normally use it without eye shadow or primer. The pigment doesn't actually stay on for long. Fades quite fast. Precision-wise, it's really good. Love the brush tip. But personally, it's so hard finding a very good, long lasting and pigmented black liquid liner :/
I bought it from things including the big palette, I ended up just giving it to my 13 year old niece because it was terrible! Loved the nude liner though😁

Even if the primer is for contouring under the foundation, that's a really lame contour shade, it's ORANGE. Even for warmer contour, that's waaay orange.

When “beauty gurus” act like they don’t even know what drugstore makeup is...
ABC 123 yes... We all know they all started on that makeup
Well I'm not a beauty guru but I never used drugstore makeup..well unless you considered Avon drugstore...In my home country we have a similar brand to Avon called Tsu cosmeticos (cosmetics in spanish)and a vegan one called Natura. The only "drugstore" cosmetic I have is nail polish.
I have recently started my makeup collection again and I have to say...makeup is expensive and founding a foundation that matches your skin tone in drugstore brand is hell to me. But now I'm working again so my money goes to crafts and make up...my husband hates it he is always kinda yelling ay me in the store "you don't need more make up, I just expend a fortune in your Christmas gift at sephora!!"..poor thing...he knew right there how much women suffer when they are broke and walk in at sephora to "window shopping"...argh...fml
Sam's Corner I think it's good that they have drugstore makeup. I mean their are still really good things in the drugstore brand that are better then high end stuff. I like the brand nyx they have great makeup you dont need expensive makeup too look nice. Their are so many women out their that are brands snobs wont wear it unless its top of the line stuff.

Wow kinda disappointed! None of the packaging of the products remind me of Gigi! I totally think her packaging would be clear and the colors more taupe instead of orangey. And that tinted primer def wasn’t light haha but you make anything look nice! I probably will not purchase the products though

I bought the black liquid liner from the collection and I normally use it without eye shadow or primer. The pigment doesn't actually stay on for long. Fades quite fast. Precision-wise, it's really good. Love the brush tip. But personally, it's so hard finding a very good, long lasting and pigmented black liquid liner :/
I bought it from things including the big palette, I ended up just giving it to my 13 year old niece because it was terrible! Loved the nude liner though😁
