    I did not know about the evanescent field before this. Not only that, you've also shown how it's actually used in fingerprint sensors without confusing at all. Super easy to follow, yes. Thanks for teaching me something so interesting.

    The earth magnetic field is actually reversed than shown in 0:37. The north pole is in the south. This is why the magnetic north pole of the compass needle turns to the geographic north pole, because it's the earth's magnetic south pole there.

    The phenomenon here is total internal reflection not frustrated total internal reflection
