    After seeing this video, I realised organising is the key. Had a doubt if we could mount tail bag on top rack, that got cleared. And the packing bags was indeed a great advice. Thanks for the knowledge ❤

    Excellent packing, has every essential things and whole alot of other things ,that's like your room moving with you. Very very good packing got me hyped for long days tour as well. Bdw what was the cruising speed or top speed with all these luggages, did you had any trouble riding with all these luggages ?
    And Thanks for the inspiring video.. happy travelling 🤝🏽

      Hey, thanks buddy!
      No trouble at all. Could easily cruise on 100-110 with a pillion plus luggage all day long. I'm guessing 110-115 with a solo setup.

    Hey. That was a really informational video, thanks, helped me in a lot of ways. It'd be really helpful if you'll be able to help me with these questions as I, myself plan to get a bike down the road: 1. Can these Rynox saddle be attached to any of the bikes out there? 2. Will I be able to find the same hiking bag at Decath still? And lastly, I don't have a budget for a Himalayan but damn, how I wish I had this beauty.

    Ammmazzing content man!
    I have a question..
    Like where do you store your riding jacket and pant when you are exploring a city and you dont wanna wear them?

    • @SilenceandStories
      @SilenceandStories  2 года назад +1

      That's a good one.
      For starters, I would plan it well. If I intend to do more exploring and ride less, I would skip wearing the pants altogether. As for the jacket, I either keep it on, or if it's too hot, I carry an extra backpack and stuff it in there.

  • @sharathkurup

    That's an amazing video and nicely edited.
    I do have a question.
    How do you mount the bag in tail rack, as Himalayan has very small plate for it, do you use custom plate for it? Most video's cover for solo ride, they tie it up in pillion seat that can't be done when you want to ride with a partner. I can see you mounted it nicely into tail rack. Can you make a video of how you tie it up.

    • @SilenceandStories
      @SilenceandStories  2 года назад +1

      Hey Sharath. I use a specific rear rack plate for the same. I'll surely make a video around it soon! Stay tuned for it :)

    Confused Between Soft luggage or Royal Enfield hard luggage in soft luggage which is better between Invictus or rynox . Your video was too good too informative keep it up .

    • @SilenceandStories
      @SilenceandStories  3 года назад

      Soft and hard luggage both have their own pros and cons. Hard luggage can be deemed a tad bit safer compared to soft luggage (as you can lock it up), but having said that it adds a few more kilos to your bike. If you're someone who does highway riding mostly, hard luggage won't be a problem. If you hit the trails more often, go with soft to shed that extra weight.
      Coming to the difference between the brands, I can only speak for Rynox (as I've never used the other one you mentioned) and their products are built to last. Plus, their customer support is responsive too! Having said that, go to a retailer, compare both the brands for your liking and you should be good to go.

    • @SilenceandStories

      Absolutely! A pillion can sit comfortably with this setup as the saddles are on their each side and the other bags are behind them on the rack.

    Isn't there a risk of those saddle bags being burnt from the exhaust's heat?

    • @SilenceandStories
      @SilenceandStories  2 года назад

      None at all.
      Two reasons why: First, you can always tighten them at the intersection while putting them on so that they don't droop down below. Second, a saddle stay would prevent it from getting anywhere near to the exhaust. I use one too!

      On the contrary, that's never been the case for me. Yes, there's always some intrigue by the people around, but no-one really becomes a problem.

      I do on most of my 1-2 month trips and that's where this setup comes to most use. For trips where I'm not carrying as much stuff, the number of bags comes down or I choose smaller ones.
      I thought that goes without saying, but this should suffice for those who don't get the obvious :)
