Ahhhh thanks for the feedback Alvin! We're trying some new things so I'm super glad you enjoyed this one. We'll be getting out and about a lot more! :-)
The quality of your videos needs more acknowledgment!! Great work(: edit: It was also really fun "shopping with you guys" and seeing the food cooked with the ingredients you just bought!
I love the relationship you have with your mum. That, plus the trip to the market, made this one of the best videos on your channel in my honest opinion. Can't wait to try this recipe!
I made this last night and served it with jasmine rice and a heap of stir fried veg, and everyone loved it! I could have made twice the amount and there wouldn't have been anything left. Thank you so much for another super easy, delicious recipe
In Damascus, we use Tamarind a lot, just like you bought it. And we use the same technique of putting it in the water and massaging it to create a thick glossy paste that we later add to a mix of water, sugar and rose water to create one of our traditional Ramadan drinks.
Just to let you know how much I loved your channel. Among all the cooking channels I’ve subscribed with, yours is the one I watched the most. I also loved the how you include your mom in your show and the way you show your love and appreciation to her. Salute to you mam. Keep it up! God bless you and your family all the time.
loved that you took us shopping with you (do it some more.. hehe) .. and about the fish .. your hit the nail on the head, go in with an open mind and buy what is freshest, a finished dish is only as good as the sum of it's ingredients .. keep up the amazing job ! P.S. Canada wants to get your products ... I can't wait to try the coconut sriracha in particular
I have to say the video quality is just great. You can definitely see the freshness and “realness” of the ingredients and the glossy noodles. The cooking is always amazing. Love the channel.
It might sounds weird that im thai but now im leaning cooking thai food from you. Thank you and khun mae noi so much for sharing amazing thai food recipes. ❤❤❤❤ lot of love from Singapore.
The colors were amazing! The brighter the fresher!! Makes you want to fly to Bangkok just to have the best there is! What a presentation of bright flavorful delicious looking food!
I finally caved and bought my first Marion's Marinade (Chilli Ginger Chicken) from Coles recently and... Well, I thought it was DELICIOUS. I could tell it was formulated for a "ฝรั่ง" audience, but, no matter. I just added a bit more "พริกแห้ง" to taste, and some more "น้ำปลา", and by GOD it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be buying more of your products to enjoy, and so lovely to see that your videos and instagram videos are so generous at teaching people your recipes without necessarily jamming your products down their throats. You're the real deal Marion, and I can tell it's a lot to do with Paa Noi! :D PS - Been following your work since Masterchef, which I do still think you should have won, but it's so great to see that such a wonderful Thai Aussie cook has done so well for herself and is sharing her talent to the whole world!
Enjoyed seeing you and Mama Noi shopping together at your local market. So nice when you can share the time with family and also shop from local markets. This recipe looks delicious!
Wow! what a refreshing way of cooking salmon. I made 1.5 lbs of salmon last night and it was loved by the family (who usually don't like fish). I sautéed white onions with red, yellow and orange peppers then mixed in with the salmon. This recipe is a keeper! Thanks Marion 💕
This has become my favorite channel ... Chef Marion really out here checking eyes, gills and smelling the fish. This is incredible. I'm going to try this recipe next !!!!
Thank you for showing the market! I got to visit it recently, and nowadays it's not as busy as it is in the video, but I still got everything I needed.
I live in Ireland (that tiny island beside Britain on the western edge of the Atlantic Ocean!) I love your recipes and your videos. My late mum was Dutch, so I have been eating Indonesian food since I was about four and have spread my wings over the years to include Thai, Chinese, Indian and recently Korean and Japanese recipes. I haven't been able to locate any of your products here (coconut sriracha, for instance) so I tend to concoct my own mixtures. So far, so good!
Love the way you make cooking so simple and yet supper class food. My family is enjoying good supper meals . Thank you . I like the way you and your mom did this video.
Just found your channel while searching for a 3 flavor sauce recipe! The production value of this video is awesome, and I really love the market trip / mom hang. I haven't explored the rest of your channel yet but I hope to find lots more of her shopping/cooking with you! This looks exactly like the 3 flavor sauce I've been missing for so long (since my favorite thai place shut down like 10 years ago) and I can't wait to make it :)
Hi K’Marion! I tell everyone that your videos are therapeutic after a long days work. I tried this today with king fish. Had a hard time finding the traditional palm sugar in my part of the world and used jaggery powder instead. Would that work? I felt it was a bit too sweet with jaggery and it was more stickier than what was on your video. Keep it up with the videos!
Fantastic recipe! So happy I found your channel haha. I remember trying this dish at a restaurant and always wanted to recreate this at home. Now I have this video. Thanks Marion! ☺️
I absolutely love Marion’s recipes and I have tried making chili oil, chicken dumplings, sesame noodles and Chinese fried rice which were all really delicious. I would love to try more recipes but I need to introduce my parents to fish sauce and oyster sauce first as they aren’t really used to them. For this recipe I was wondering if there is a substitute for palm sugar as that is the only thing I don’t have at the moment.
you wouldnt want to , they are filthy dirty with dogs running around and flies everywhere . the chicken is not refrigerated . How do I know , i live here .
I always knew you cooked Thai food. I had no idea you actually LIVED in Thailand. I guess this explains the unorthodox upload times. I should’ve figured. 🤷♂️😂
Looks absolutely delicious 😋😋😋😋 so so appetizing tantalising my tastebuds here.I love all your recipes. You're the best both yku and mom.God bless you both.Great great recipes
Please do more of these videos Marion. Love seeing you and Mamna Noi shopping at the market. Great how you show us where things come from. I so want to go cooking classes with you and Mamma Noi in Bangkok. Trust me my hubbie loves your recipes that I cook. Me thinks he will fly me first class to your classes.😂🤪😘
So nice to see you shopping in Bankok 😍 reminded me of my trip to Bankok ✨ would love to hear you and Mama Noi speak some thai with the vendors next time! 😃😻
Oh My, thank you for this amazing recipe... SWOON! I was crying with joy when you plated this dish! Where is the market? I am planning a trip to Thailand and don't want to miss visiting this authentic food market...
That is amazing. So fresh... what a joy to see that salmon in the market and cooked up on the same day! And I'm glad the skin was left on because, apart from the bones, that's where the extra moisture, texture and flavour comes from. And I love seeing adventures with your mum :)
Mama Noi is NARAK MAK MAKKKKKKKKKKKK!!! Omg.. I love you both so much.. and my love for Thailand I already had paired with you just makes me so happy when I watch your videos!
Wow, this dish looks delicious.! I'm gonna try this one, everything i like in a dish is in this recipe, sweet, sour and spicy. Thanks Marion and hello Mama Noi.!

Making this tonight for dinner! So excited! But I have a question, I only Thai red chilis but I do not want it too spicy, how many red chili’s do you suggest using? Anything else I can use in substitute, to make it have the reddish color?
Omg, I very want to know what market you and your mom went to, I have been born and live in Bangkok I never go to the market and find the fish that fresh and so beautiful. Marion you are so adorable you has the Thai accent as my daughter. Thank you for making this video
