KSE just released a preview song off their upcoming album. I teach you how to play it here. I just figured this song out by ear today so I'm pretty rough playing it, especially the solo, lol. Not 100% sure on the chorus either. Hope you enjoy!!
I'm playing an ESP LTD H-1000 through a Line 6 POD XT. This exact model of guitar is discontinued but here's a link to the H-1001 FM which is pretty much the same just different headstock and slightly different finish:

Tuning is Drop C. CGCFAD. The POD is simulating a Treadplate dual rectifier with a tube screamer stomp box in front of it for the tone.
Awesome, Thanks. Yeah there's quite a few minor mistakes in here but I put this out like a a day after they released the single. Just use it as a guide. I have figured out most of the parts that aren't quite right, just haven't had time to make another video...

no problem. The chorus in the tab should more correct than I did it in the video, so pay more attention to the tab on that part lol. I haven't gotten around to making the follow up video yet, I played a few wrong notes in the solo, too. Nothing major, though. I'll try to get the solo tabbed out when my eyes stop going buggy from staring at the screen lol.

Thank you. I put this out as fast as I could when the song was released so, there are some parts that I got wrong after going back and listening to the song more, nothing too major but I would just use this as a guide. \m/
It's an LTD H-1000. I don't think they make them anymore, now they closest thing they make is the H1001-FM. I'll put a link in the video description.

no prob. There's quite a few parts on this vid that are not quite correct, I will make a follow up vid when I get enough time... but it's pretty close and should get you started at least.
None taken. I just wanted to get this video out as soon as possible and you know how it goes, you think you have it right then you listen to it more and you're like FUCK that isn't right. I plan on making a new video going over and correcting the mistakes I made in this one... just haven't had time, playing way too much DayZ lol.

I just started a new job so my video making time has been drastically cut down. I will try to if I have time. I think I should probably make a video correcting all the mistakes I made in this one first lol
nah, u can just put a distortion pedal inbetween the guitar and amp. It's not gonna sound as amazing as a $2000 professional tube amp, but it will be fine for jamming at home, and have plenty distortion. Boss metalzone pedals are pretty sweet. You can run your amp more clean and just use the pedal for the distortion, or you can try a little of both and get it to sound how you like. I had Dual Rectifier ( it got stolen, fuck! ) but I ran an OD pedal in front of that cuz i liked how it sounded
Adam D uses his guitar into a Boss NS-2 gate pedal with a maxon od-808 or od-9 in that pedal's loop, into a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier Roadster. Before that he used a Hughes&Kettner Tri-amp. His guitars have Emg 81/85 combo. I had the same setup with the Roadster until someone stole it... bastards.
There are lots of parts that are wrong, but it's not ALL wrong. The main riff and verse riffs are right. The chorus is not right, the solo is mostly right except for the tapping part. I know a lot of it is off but I wouldn't say it's ALL wrong.

Dude, ive been playing on a little overdrive amp and im sick of not getting that much distortion, if I was to put a distortion pedal from my guitar to my amp (overdrive amp) would I get that much? Or do I need a distortion amp.

While I am very grateful you took the time to make this video, you are not a very good teacher. I had to stop and rewind the video several times as I made my way through.
My constructive criticism is you rush through it and don't break it down enough. You go through each part once and then quickly move on.
Next video, break it down in to sections. Do an initial demonstration to show how it sounds normally then break it down and show us slow-mo then normal at least twice.
Keep the videos coming and maybe you could redo this video for us? Parts are wrong but it's forgivable lol.
Andromeda Galaxy yeah, not my best work. This is designed more for people who know how to play, not for beginners. Plus a lot of it is wrong.
