thank you for addressing this with science : facts and studies, I have a puppy I want to keep around for many many years after giving what I thought was a healthy diet for my other dogs in the past, but then I was making the same nutritional status quo errors for myself, buying into the high carb low fat trends...I do keto now and have healed or in process of healing myself on many levels...and I believe wholeheartedly in it .
It’s 2022 and I finally discovered MCT oil, for myself, last year. I didn’t know I could give it to my pets. Very detailed info! Thank you Dr. Becker!

Its hard to get a vet who supports raw diet what more a ketogenic diet.
At least in my part of the world, its really a lonely journey but seeing the benefits of a good diet in my cats, it keeps me going.
I started my 14 year old (88 human year old) dog MCT on oil and am seeing a difference in him energy wise and joint pain wise. So I am happy with the product.
Can I ask what brand you chose ,

Dr. Becker, I must know if cats with diabetes, or pancreas issues can or cannot have MCT oil... My cat was just diagnosed with diabetes mellitus/pancreatitis, and is in bad shape (losing weight, weak, drinking lots of water) but eating normal. No vomiting or diarrhea, though. Please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Hello Dr. Becker I was wondering if there is any home test that u recommend to find out what nutrients my doggie is lacking from. That way I can give her whatever suppliments or vitamins she is lacking from. She is 9 yr old husky
My Integrative veterinarian gave my cat a test which revealed which vitamins or minerals he was lacking. Look for an Integrative or holistic vet.
Would you recommend MCT oil for a cat with chylothorax? My cat has to stay away from fat until his thoracic duct heals. He gets chyle build up in lungs and has to be drained to help him breathe. I don’t want to give him anything that would cause more chyle to build up and have read that MCT oil can bypass going through the thoracic duct.

All of you who are still feeding your Dogs and Cats the Billionaire pet industry JUNK, must stop doing that, because that is the main reason why your pets are getting all this diseases. Short story. I've had dogs all of my life, My sweet Dad always made their home fresh food for them. They were all healthy, very active, never had any disease, teeth were white, no arthritis, no cataracts, beautiful coat, they lived an active life for many years, when they were 15 and 18 still looked & acted like 2 years old puppies.
But you say to feed meat greens and fruit ???
That fuel analogy kinda pissed me off lmao, diesel has a higher energy density than gas and even high octane gas, gas just has a lower flash and ignition point

Actually she mentioned that due to the palm kernal oil. Palm oil is sourced from the orangutans habitat. It is a big problem. I say this as a long time 15 year soap maker...who uses palm oil in my batches on occasion. It's not a "woke" issue. I have known of the issue for years and only source my palm from sustainable distributors because of it.
