Glad I’m not the only artist who buys multiple palettes! Great choice Debra and thanks so much for sharing your techniques with us all. I’m binge watching your videos in Dec 2023. Love from Jo in France 🇫🇷
Watercolor is my love and passion! This has inspired me to begin. Abstract seems to fit me more than specific shapes etc. Going to begin! Thank you! Lovely video!
I love these!! And the music you pick! It’s an interesting combo…beautiful coral abstracts with a hard beat! Reminds me of the cool song you played in Chaos!
what a day I have had every tutorial has been the bomb! Love your colors and you speak my language. so important to listen to other artist it gets kinda lonely.
Such a fun tutorial. I love this color combination. I have to say I get next to no activity on Facebook, I feel like people just aren't looking at Facebook much anymore. I know I'm not. Maybe that's why it's growing slowly for you. Thanks for making all of the content you do 🙂
Glad you checked out Cheap Joes! I’ve been buying their products for years and they have quality products and some great sales! I’m excited to try this. I like doing little pieces to experiment. Thanks again for sharing!!
Yeah I’m glad I did too…I really like all the other place to shop as well but I was so pleased with how Cheap Joes connects with fellow artists, so hats off to them. Be bless, thanks for tuning in!!!
Thank you Debra! Great tutorial. Tjis looks so similar to my style and i use inks as well. I never tried just dragging the dropper like you did so i really want to try that now! Beautiful results and i appreciate you sharing!
Love, love! Thanks for your response to my comment about being scared of big paper and bringing me back to this. I was going to order big paper, just can’t justify it in the thick of Christmas time. (I was just out of work with 2 broken legs, back now but learning to walk again. Should have been trying to paint on anything that didn’t move) I’m still struggling but forward I go.
I ordered 4 different paints from Cheap Joe's after watching this: Indian Yellow and Hot tamale, Green apatite and a Winsor and Newton Cerulean blue hue. I love the sheen on the hot tamale. :). I believe you showed a great paper cutter. If so, what is the name and model number?Thank you
@@debralynrosenbachart Just little blips along the way! I really enjoy your videos, always feel like I learn about something new and fun and makes me love watercolor even more!
Thanks for info. Do you have art shows locally? Of course right now Fort Myers is in process of cleaning debris, perhaps later on. I live in Barkley Place independent living and have been playing in watercolors for many years and like your idea of loose paint as opposed to more realistic style which takes a lot of practice. So will try being more loose. Thanks. LaVonne
Yes, I have some Yupo…I would do some work with it but im waiting for my studio supplies to arrive in maybe a month, then I can get my hands on my alcohol inks.
No, i didn’t supply a list. In some of my videos I will talk about what colors I’m using. But I’m believer in everyone experimenting with the color they have themselves.
I’m sorry Debra but the background music going while you are talking is like nails on a chalkboard for me. I don’t understand the recent fanaticism of this. It’s so bad on TV shows we watch or try to, and now it’s sneaking into tutorials. The music and the voice are competing and very distracting. And I have to edit that thank goodness the music didn’t continue. It was fun watching you throw the paint around. Very pretty.
Bonnie, I’m sorry you were annoyed by the music while i was talking there was an error on my part with editing, I was just glad it was only for a brief period of time 😞
@@bonnieodonnell2780 No hard feelings Bonnie. But i did learn a valuable lesson in my editing and how I need to double check everything before hitting publish!

Really interesting, Debra! Love the ink addition toward the end. Must try!

I enjoy watercolor and mixed media. What brushes do you use?
Heres the work horse of brushes, this thing just keeps on going. And I’m mean on my brushes. I use a size 120 most of the time. amzn.to/3IqNQw9

This was very inspiring! Could you maybe do an actual link to your Amazon store? Couldn’t find it and would like to check out some of these products.
Sorry, it didn’t transfer, my mistake. This edit on this video didn’t go so well, unexpected music in the middle, and now this…ugh oh the joys! 😂

Fun video! Couldn’t find the granulation medium. ?

Great video! Debra, what color would you say hot tamale is in winsor and newton? It looks magentaish. Thanks! Chris
I wish i could answer that for you but I don’t use WN. Nothing against that brand, im just a DS and Mijello gal.
Hi Debra. Can I use alcohol ink the same way. Thank you for your generosity. Very inspiring ❤❤❤
Im unsure of how granulation medium would work with alcohol ink. I rarely use that ink.
I live in Fort Myers. What size do you make you mini paintings, they look like fun.
LaVonne.
We’re neighbors!!!! 😊 those mini paintings were maybe 4x6 approx.
