Most people think college only purpose is to get an education but is also an opportunity to make connections, make young adult decisions and have positive experiences that stay with for the rest of your life! No fool can berate and belittle me for 3 greek letters, then when I do 5th grade research - I can see that each organization has a false greek god over it. Thank you, Jesus for saving me from this just in time. I mean the REAL Christ and not the fake white man hanging on some people's walls.
Loved your story and your advice about how if your looking into Greek life to do your research because Greek life isnt for everyone and some people end up finding that out after joining sometimes. Finding like-minded individuals not only helps you stay true to yourself but it also gives you a community of people you can trust with advice to help steer you in the right direction, I'm not apart of a sorority but thought about joining one and one thing I love about the Zeta's is that they pride themselves on Finer Womenhood!!... I love your story because I crossed in 04 and even though I had "greeks" in my family it wasn't something I was interested in however, one of the first guys I met that was super cool who went to a college not to far from mine happened to be a Sigma and he was super cool, down to earth, would give me amazing advice and I did not know about Zeta at the time. But once I met ppl from different organizations and met a Zeta...it was all love, genuine relationships and from then on it was no other choice.

However, we all come together to achieve one mission ( service) You can google any organization you are interested in.. any information that you find will either align to topics you are interested in or it will inform you that that organization is not the best for you! That’s an excellent question. I was debating between Delta and SGRHO grad chapter. I called the headquarters of both organizations and was directed to contact persons in my area. After meeting the president of both organizations and talking with the ladies, my mind was made up. I clicked with the ladies of SGRHO and the rest is history. 19 years and loving it. I suggest you interact with the grad chapter members of both organizations and let your heart speak to you. Blessings on your journey.
