This is such a timely and powerful message. Thanks for sharing sis. It is so important for us to realize that God created each of us for a purpose and on purpose. God is not one to waste resources, so we exist for a reason. It is for us to draw closer to our Creator- God- to find out that reason. I love all your points, but your first point resonated with me the most! Comparison is tempting to do, but it is truly a thief of joy. I always say, “God has endowed each of us with gifts and talents that are unique to us, and if we spent time discovering and developing those gifts and talents, we would not have time to compare”. My ex broke up with me not so long ago and I’m a little sure he’s fallen in love with another girl. I’ve constantly asked why I wasn’t enough, what the girl has that I dont have, why he left me for someone else. But these videos of yours have helped me way too much. Great video. I came across your channel because I saw your comment on one of Lexi Laure's recent videos. I like the way you were very descriptive with why we shouldn't compare ourselves. I used to compare myself and it all stemmed from my past insecurities as a kid that followed me to my adult-hood. I can now freely see the beauty and lives of others without it creating a space of emptiness in my heart. I am happy to say God delivered from a lot of things and comparison is one of them. I had to subscribe after this video. Long story short I struggle with this. I am almost 34 and a single mother never married. Made some choices in my early life that had consequences that brought me to where I am now. I’m learning to let go of those mistakes and focus on today. I’m living with family because of health issues that are finally resolved. Trying to move forward is hard. I want marriage but trying to believe that someone will love me that has messed up and has no schooling but just experienced from past jobs. I know it’s all lies from the enemy but it is still a struggle.

Hi Ms. Angela. I love watching your videos, because it helps me understand God more. I’m in my journey in getting to know our creator and to have a deep relationship with him. I sometimes have a hard time understanding some stories in the bible, like the story of Sara, Hagar and Abraham on how they didn’t trust God’s timing. I was able to get it, when you explained it on one your blogs. I hope you’ll do something like that again. Sharing your favorite verses and relating it to our daily struggles in life.
