Big Blyth' Blunder?!

I am The Harbinger, I really love board games, specifically strategy board games and rougelikes because of their unpredictability and that you have to adapt and play with what you are given at any time. Wingspan is currently my favorite of all board games!
We have a nice forest engine in an average game and play a big satisfying Blyth's Hornbill towards the end of the game ... But in post game analysis we look back at it and realise playing it maybe was a decent mistake.
