When I was little, my brothers and I would go to my step-grandmothers house while my parents worked. At around 12 PM each day we were there she would make us take a nap. It had to be at least 2 hours for her to let us get up and play. The only way I could get to sleep was listening to the ticking clocks echoing through the quiet room, although they were slightly out of sync. I would sit there and watch the clocks, and eventually it would be like they hypnotized me to sleep. Now anytime I hear a ticking clock, it makes me so tired. Since I have insomnia, this is the only thing I can use to sleep at night. Thank you for uploading this video!

I have got 10 grandfather clocks plus 1 longcase regulator. 5 of these are situated in my bedroom and believe me when it comes to mid night my bedroom is not at all relaxing. However I love each one of them and they all have their own distinctive tick and bell sound.

Every time I ever slept over at one of my buddies, we slept in the basement. His dad has an obsession with old clocks, especially grandfather clocks. He had 2 in the basement and whenever I spent the night there I never had a problem sleeping

Best ticking clock video yet. When I was a small baby-child my cot was in the kitchen under a big Vienna regulator.My parents found it was the only way I'd settle and sleep so the cot was moved in.I now have 10 clocks in our home, except the bedroom because of the chimes so this video does the trick.What I love most about it is the sounds of the mechanisms. Thank you for putting it on.
