@@blasepivovar thanks man! I have an ifootage Gazelle that's decent for the price, on the bench about getting another or trying the smallrig out. Mainly for B can during interviews

Several new options came to market like the Tilta CT tripods, the Ulanzi Video Fast and Smooth Camera Gear StediFast (both are very similar to the 645 Fast from Manfrotto sans the low angle locks)

Yep, gear releases are crazy these days

I'm in favor of the Manfrotto 645 in carbon fiber, thinking of pairing it with the new Ace XL MK II. Not far off from the Flowtech legs, missing the handle, top latches, magnetic lock, oh and they're a bit lighter but you save $500 or so

Great review. I think these are a great set of legs to pair with a higher quality head.

Thank so much. Glad you found it helpful! Sometimes hard to know with new products if they are any good so hoping it helps people out!

I love your videos. For someone who is a prosumer like myself, I have been looking for a budget friendly Tripod that has smooth pan and tilt. BTW, still saving for the x-h2s, but I currently have enough for the x-s20. I can get this now and work my way up to the more costly camera. But, yes, I desire to do interviews and product videography. I currently do products only. Anyway, thank you for all you do.
BTW, also, when I visit KC, I would love to film b-roll for 1 or some of your videos. Just to grow in experience.

So kind! Yeah the smallrig is definitely a solid option if you are wanting the quick set legs. If those aren't as attractive, there are def cheaper options with very similar head designs. Keep me posted on Instagram when you are coming through KC and maybe we can make that happen :)

This is off topic, but you mentioned that you’re using autofocus for video? How are you able to get usable autofocus on Fuji? I have owned 3 Fuji cameras now and cannot seem to get autofocus to work for run and gun style shooting and even for a more studio style setup.

I have a video where I talk more in depth about lenses that might be helpful. Could you let me know what cameras and lenses you have been using?

@@blasepivovar I’ll check out the video. Right now I’m just using the X-S20 with the 18-55 kit lens.
