This is fantastic; not only does every second of film you have used, outside of its context, match the words of the song perfectly but you twist this song so that it ends up still refering to Charles' power over Erik despite his eventual injury of Charles. I love how there is clear pain in the 'Divorce' scene being contrasted with the knowledge that Charles "doesn't care" about Erik's past or his future actions "as long as [he's] here". Beautiful and obviously well thought out.
nice vid.i have a soft spot for this "i can´t quit you (even when i want to)"- ships. there is sucha interesting power dynamic in it.you chose the clips very nicely and it flows great.

The timing with all the clips you used is so perfect and creates such a great flow, and it really tells the story in an interesting way, and says something about the characters. And you are totally right; the song is about acceptance but, at the same time, about power over someone else (one that knows the other WILL come back to him sooner or later, so it really doesn't matter if he leaves again and again).
