- I am proud to say I am jumping into the world of surf fishing. I have two young kids so long stretches of free time are hard to come by. I have most of the gear but will be adding things as I need them. enjoy the rundown of what I currently have and please offer suggestions. It's by far my favorite way to fish on Maine beaches, marshes and rivers it just never gets old
I have two young kids at home as well. Early morning and late night adventures will keep everyone sane and a happy home. I'm in central PA and "limited" to Smallmouth, trout, crappie, etc. You're in an awesome location for quick successful trips.

I have three boys under three and already am on the water all day lobstering. So my striper trips are all quick burst off the ledges. Haven’t tried beaches but want to add that this summer. Great videos and can’t wait to see some tricks for fishing in the surf. Hope everyone catches some giants!

Personally I feel like a jerk bait is a really important addition to ur bag. I’ll fish a jerk bait more than any other baits most of the time. A sp minno or yo zuri crystal minno
The sp has come up several times. I'm adding a purple for night and sn electric chicken for day time.

Hey great video! Try adding the Cotton Cordell Pencil Popper! It will make some surface noise!
I have over two dozen in various sizes and colors but I figured it was strictly a bluefish lure. I'm definitely adding in a red/white or silver. The guys next to me had a few follows on them. Good tip
Which rods are you pairing up with? You said your tarpon rod is too long, what is the ideal size?
Trying to watch your rod tip, I didn't see any head shaking by the fish, if that were truly the case, chances were good that it was a foul hooked Sturgeon. Its happened to me enough to know.
There was tail beats but no head shakes. All the sturgeon I've seen where around the corner and when I went back the follow week it was all take stripers so I have no idea
Least amount of gear he has EVER taken fishing. It's a sight to see.
I specifically bought a 3 tube bag instead of a 4 or 5 so I'd have to limit myself. I'm trying to be a better person. People can change man, people can change
