In a quaint Portuguese village, hidden away at its farthest corner, stands a grand yellow mansion frozen in time. The once-majestic structure, belonging to the noble couple, Mr. Jose and Mrs. Maria Adalante, had fallen into a state of disrepair over the years. Nature had woven its way into the once-bustling home, reclaiming it for its own.
Long ago, the Adalante family had filled these halls with laughter and joy, raising their beloved daughter Sylvana within these walls. Mr. Jose was a man of extraordinary vision, especially in the realm of aircraft engineering, while Mrs. Maria's grace and charm made her the center of village admiration.
Venturing inside, one could still find traces of their lives scattered about, from cherished mementos to fading old photographs. The Adalante's nobility is evident, and the air resonates with whispers of a glorious past.
Despite the intrigue that surrounded the mansion, its allure was not enough to entice potential buyers. This once-cherished property remained unsold since its abandonment in 2001, gradually losing itself to the relentless passage of time.
And so, the grand yellow mansion of the Adalante family continued to stand as a melancholic reminder of a forgotten era, where dreams of flight and nobility once intertwined, forever awaiting someone to breathe life into its weathered walls.

Hello Maureno and Remon!!! What an historic property. Even with the decay it was beautiful. I can’t believe some of those envelopes being as old as they were. Older than the USA. The outside was magnificent. Must’ve been such an incredible place in its heyday. Thank you so much for such a beautiful explore. The house is beyond repair but couldn’t the wood work be salvaged and saved for another home? Loving your new intro Guys👍 also having you both together again is fantastic! I love the old Portugese architecture and the beautiful antiques. The twists on the antique furniture are known as Barley twists. I own a piece of furniture ( a china cabinet)that has those.
This was a great tour of this old home. I have to say the exterior really stood out to me. The bright coloring with the tiles and the paint made for quite an exterior. Very tastefully done. I also was stunned at the letters dating back hundreds of years! OMG, what a find! It's the vandalism that got to me. Someone totally disrespected and destroyed this beautiful home and it's sickening to see. You really have to look past it to see the beauty of this house. I don't understand people. All in all, it was a beautiful house and a fascinating explore. Thanks Maureno and Remon, for bringing us along on your adventures!

Hi there, Maureno & Remon. At 25:36, could that tool be used for curling a woman’s hair (for hair-styling)? At 26:39, could the Stones be used for sharpening the blade of the razor? Looks like different types of coarse finishes on each stone and maybe a dark flat oil stone for the final finish, too. At 27:09, the Frame with hooks could have been used to display awards, medals, or other memorabilia! The same for the Frame at 27:16. At 29:44, really liked the uniquely mounted window in the Hall. Maureno & Remon, thank y’all for wearing the gloves to protect the Artifacts and Yourselves, also!! Amazing to see the Notes from the 1700’s!!!
I've watched you guys for a VERY LONG time. Started with my grandson many years ago. He would fall asleep within 10 minutes of hearing your relaxing voices. My 3 year-old granddaughter will fall asleep in 5 minutes! Tonight, she kept telling me she wanted to watch "Miss Bandon." Tried to look it up on Google. No such show. She's crying by now and keeps repeating, "I want to watch 'Miss Bandon'. Finally, it dawns on me - she wants to watch abandons (what I call them) and specifically Explomo! She knows your name but cannot pronounce it. I just wanted to let you know about your young fan. She loves your Portugal series, especially the ones you add music to. She calls that "sleeping music". Of course, I stay awake and watch till the end.
Some of those letters were written before the United States existed. Amazing job guys!
I think I remember seeing you and Remon pictured outside of this place on a short or a reel on Explomo channel. It looked interesting so I am glad to be able to see the full video.

Hello Maureno & Reymon this was a great explore. The family photos and pictures always get me emotional and to wondering their stories of that time. So the "crying boy" picture is truely not good, in the 1970's & 80's my mother and stepfather acquired one from an antique shop in Kent, let me tell you I hated that picture and bad things happened constantly, I believe that some years later when my mother sold the house she was told not to remove or take it with her so she left it in the loft/attic 😲 I have not thought of it until now some 40 years on !!! That is barley twist on the cabinet and other pieces . I love that office furniture.I believe that was a old curling iron you would heat on the stove. All the furniture has come unglued due to dampness .Not your fault Bro.Weavers frame also frames with hooks could have held medals and badges for wine awards. Loved it guys you two are still my favorite explorers.

It's rhe first time I watch ur videos, at least in a while I think, but just an advice, those newspapers u found for example in the drawers it would have bn Awesome if u would have checked the dates 👍. Some beautiful antique furniture - probably from the late 19th or early 20th century - was visible in some rooms. Very amazing to see
so old letters! - It was again very touching to see so many personal items and old photographs left behind and forgotton for ever! - On the
other hand it was of course very sad to see evident traces of vandalism side by side to the traces of natural decay.
Nevertheless I loved following you in mind through the many rooms of this really old and very huge location.
Beautiful exterior, especially the tower with the colourful decorations.

Hi Maureen & Remon, I’m only just starting to watch this video, but I wanted to tell you. That I don’t believe the little envelopes were for letters. I believe they were for coins or paper money. The reason they are empty is most likely one of the other Explorers probably stole them. I think that because of where you found them on the floor. There are some gorgeous antique furniture. The house is so so so so cute!!! Sitting there in the middle of that pretty green overgrown garden, with those pretty trees and cute palm tree! And as well, the ivy growing on the house gives it an amazing look! Love the architecture of the home, the color as well. You feel that it comes right out of a fairytale, or you just imagine Juliet standing on that balcony, and Romeo down there singing love songs and playing guitare for her 😍😂🤦♀️ Anyways, the yellow color is pretty and makes the house so unique, and the art on it as well. But the sad part is when you explore it from the inside 😢 to see it decaying that bad and at the point to collapse at any moment. And the see all the photos and memories left behind. Not only that but the vendalism as well. The house from the inside looks nothing but like a mess. I just don't understand why people do that or steal the valuables and beautiful antiques. And that's why i love u guys, because of how much u are respectful towards the houses and owners ❤ Even though there was not much, it is always a pleasure to go on an explore with you two, and to watch an amazing video on your amazing channel. The small stove is called "Salamandra" to heat the Room and the One on the wall is for baking bread.

Hello guys. The writing in each tiny envelope describes a specif coin, its face value and the year it was coined.
Thanks again for another wonderful exploration. I knew there would be a dog and just as I thought maybe not that big one was seen. Loved the old envelopes going back to 1713 😮. Sadly to far gone. The outside looked more promising with it's great look. Be save guys ...on to the next one❤

Love you 2 exploring together. I do think at 4:40 ...that should be bleep or edited out. We put this on a big TV screen sometimes for different age groups to watch. Most everyone dont want to hear unacceptable language for them 😒. I have never heard this before from you guys. Just be careful you are blessed with a big audience. 🙏 i have let it go when very upset or angry i try more with children and also i don't tbink i should be using certain language. I enjoyed this exploration very much. I just knew therd would be a dog. Those old hand made envelopes wre special going back to 1713. Those are not old letters, they are envelopes with something old in them, probably coins. For a start, in the 18th century they did not have envelopes. They used to fold the letters a certain way and then seal the back with a wax seal. Think Marie Antoinette & King Louis XVl time period. Also, the fronts of those envelopes have no names, no addresses, no postage stamps etc. It is obvious the office has been looted and the contents of the cabinets have been strewn around the floor. You need to change your title on the video to reflect that & keep the integrity of your work intact. Greetings from Manchester, UK 🇬🇧

did you notice that the date you reads on the tiny envelopes like 1728 was the oldest aren't the dates like the specific date 1 April 1728 etc may be these are the numbers for some specific reason that was written by some beautiful person of that time for easy to remembered

I think those Tongs in the kitchen may have been old curling tongs like you hate them and I don't know the fire and then you curl your hair with them but I could and in the girls' bedroom or next to it that's a weaving border she made be making a little rug or wall hanging
