Im a Pepperdine alumni, and now staff! If you ever want to be affiliated to play the Pepperdine hole again, and hear the story of that area, hit me up!
@@brettgysin3026 It's honestly not the craziest story, but it's where the golf teams practice when they're not at the golf courses they have memberships at to practice at. There are four or so 'tee boxes' where the teams bring out a trackman and hit balls toward the ocean, including a tee box about 20 feet up the hill so they can hit driver. There is also a disk golf course that staff and students can use. The greens are artificial turf, which makes it tough to hold the green, as you can see Erik doing lol. It's a really cool place to go and hit balls, looking directly out at the ocean.
@@xKingsman08x I always drive by Pepperdine when I'm down in Malibu. How good is the disc golf course and what exactly is it like because I always see the holes, but no one ever playing it?
Ain't that the truth. It would be amazing to have your own course. Even the cost of staffing it would be too much, never mind design and Construction costs. She must've been worth it!
Love how the last two episodes were about expanding golf's accessibility to more people and this one is about some of the most exclusive holes in the world.
Now that I know your okay with trespassing I have an adventure for you. Many years ago me and my brother “designed” a golf course at a collection of soccer fields in our suburban community outside of Toronto. We have one green, with 6 tees it plays as a six hole course. The green is actually brown as it is made of dirt, but between late March to early May it rolls incredibly true as the moisture level in the dirt is optimal. When we built this course(which we still use as a warm up before the real courses open) we were the only ones who would play it. But soon after we inspired a bunch of people who still play it to this day. While it’s not illegal to trespass on the soccer fields as it’s public property, there are bylaws that don’t allow golf on soccer fields in our community. But it’s never enforced. I would love to show it to you sometime if your ever game to travel to Toronto in April. Cheers -ZB
Always sad when a course shuts down...we lost 2 Doak designs north of us in N. Michigan, including his first one. Way to give er and find some holes to play! Way to hole out.
Was shut down well before the fire, 2008/2009. Bought by a Chinese company and was just abandoned after financial crisis. Fire destroyed anything that was left after 10 years of no maintenance. Great memories playing there when I was a kid.
I love golf. But for the love of god there does not need to be more courses in Malibu, there's no water in California and they are just spraying drinking water on all these courses. The reason there's no water in Cali
Its not the most private course in the western hemisphere. Theres a course i think its 9 holes built by the owners of a shipping company that is on an island surrounded by rapids that are only safe to travel through twice a day. absolutely beautiful terrain
Pretty cool having a course in your backyard. Dude started off bit douchey but I learnt to like you bud! Can I come from Aus to play? I'll bring the beers 🍻🏌️
These are so well done and enjoyable to watch. You should check out some Santa Barbara area courses some time. La Purisma. Rancho San Marcos. Montecito Country Club, Ojai Valley Inn Golf Course (Ventura county). All would make for great episodes.
Uhhhh...nice try with the ALMOST Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack...lol. Those pesky copyright restrictions are just so inconvenient. A "banana in the tailpipe" reference would've been classic...
How to not be taken down by RUclips: make a score that sounds like the original, and only the people born in the 70s or earlier will realized that it isn't really the Miami Vice intro song 😄
Hate to see great courses close. We just lost one of Ross' first courses in Rhode Island. Sad thing, Brad Faxon was part of the group who sold it to be developed into "box stores." 😤😤😤
Erik, that was fun and exciting and a little dangerous wrapped into one video. Congrats on the Hole-in-one. A beautiful part of the country. Stay safe, literally.

Will do. Thanks. 😉
Crazy thing is, I made my first hole in one last week. Made me smile to watch this.
I was a little shook when they said no divot. But after seeing only chipping, probably isn't bad.
Yeah, the dogs can make it to the fence in 3 seconds; but what's even more impressive is that they can make their own signs.
That was it. Best episode yet.
what shades does erik have on?
How often, do you travel?
Love how everyone in this area votes for open borders and yet has the biggest gates, fences, walls, security, AND dogs! xD
Can’t really count that as an Ace...
NWO for the chosen few!
🕳 👊🏻
Dude literally has the best job. Travels to craziest courses and just plays golf. Unreal
Not sure it’s as glamorous as it looks but still would be awesome
Its a lot of work but you're right, if you can do it as your full time job, it's gotta be pretty sweet!! Thats what we're aspiring to!

So who uses or has access to the second 3 holes he couldn't play?

So good.
Yeah!
Best golf series on RUclips 🙏
Agreed 100%.
Its really nuts how good he is at this! He inspired us to get into the RUclips game. We must be a close second on RUclips 🤣🤣🤣

"Instead of turning water into wine you turned wine into golf." -EAL
His cleverness often goes by unnoticed by some of the show's patrons
Man they’re just pumping out content!! If you ever come to Indiana, you gotta post about it so we can meet!
We're not EAL, but we're a channel built around playing with our subs! May wanna check us out for when we get out your way!
Where at in Indiana because I’m from Indiana
How did he double bogey the. First?
Was thinking the same should of been bogey!!
Short holes can be deemed a par 2 by local rules so I’m assuming he heard it was a par 2 by whoever told him about that hole
@@nicholasciarletta6708 Okay thanks for the clarification.
There needs to be 20 seasons of Adventures in Golf. Have watched every episode
We're new into the vlog game and we are in awe at how good he is at this youtube thing. Hoping to get there one day!!
Too bad he forgot the ace cam
I’m so glad this series is back! EAL is the man!
So if it’s left to the city and they maintain it why can’t you play?? Who gets to play? And if no one why do they maintain it
came her to ask that exact question! Doesn't make sense to lock off public property like that.
I read about that 3 hole built for the wife.
I didnt think there was any chance to get in there. Good try though.
Seen that last guy in another video, awesome backyard but dude sounds like a total schmuck like come on guy "NO DIVOTS AT ACC"
The fact he's sitting in front of a chain link fence when he goes out there smh 🤣😂
Such a joke
rule makes sense if a single divot means half your fairway's gone...
The cliffside course house is now on Zillow for a mere $15m!
Rich kids try to be authentic. F# me.
Man I would really like to know where you buy your clothes. They are basic yet so stylish. You probably won't read this comment though :(
Absolutely love this channel. Amazing content
Truly more jealous of Erik than anyone on earth at this moment. Augusta and this. Have you hit Cypress or Spyglass?
I'm friends with Greg and I play there all the time so cool to see EAL there
Come to Dallas/Fort Worth! Some fun courses out here

Picture this.....drone over the top of one of those private holes, wedge in from off site...BOOM, hole in one!!!
The way you film and present these episodes is like watching 15 minutes of poetry
He made a Hole- in- One ( 1 ) after *200* attempts!
Did you try contacting anyone first before heading out?
That would be logical, but guess not...
What would be the fun in that
@@RandomGolfClubFilms Haha, well maybe you could have played there 😁 But good content non the less, as always 😎

No doubt its up there!!!!
Was Malibu Golf Club just a bad place to play, too expensive? WTF happened.
so good friend
Awesome adventure Erik 👍 how many shots did it take before the ace? A backyard that dreams are made of!
OK who ever plays that 3 whole that they couldn't get in. It just seems like 3 holes that get kept up but no one ever plays it.
Wait are you actually going to count that as a hole in one.....
At 7:33...
Did you just assume the landscaper's name was Jose? Pretty messed up if that's the case.
Lucky the California cops didn't arrest you for being outside.

It's a good thing you didn't get hauled in by the cops. This Dude tells me the chief of police is a real fascist.

Hole in one implies that, that was your first try, that day. Obviously Eric using sarcasm but I wanted to clarify.
Meaning behind the numbers on his mask @4:45 ?
It means to kill the President ( Trump ) on Election Day. 86 the 45th on 11 3 20. It's sickening.
Lol 86 does not mean “kill” it means “kick out” . You’ve obviously never worked at a bar or restaurant.
