    The ending conversation is heavy. Tony talks about his “strategy” and how Phil has “200 soldiers in the family”. From Tony, that statement says “fear”. He was always stuck at the fork in the road. He had too much to lose with an all out war. But Chris saying “I ain’t scared of him” showed he had nothing to fear, because he had nothing to lose. Never had the foresight to see the tremendous implicatives that might serve his bottom line much better. Tony did; that was his downfall.
    Look, all I’m trying to say is that Tony never had the makings of a varsity athlete.

      You can't blame him. They didn't hit the guy with the car. A third party motorist did a hit and run. They didn't intend for that. They just wanted to rough him up a little for taking action on their turf. He threw that line out there to save his own ass because Phil could have easily resolved the situation by turning him over to Tony, especially if he wasn't yet made.

      It would of been awesome to see Chris during the war with Phill's New York at the end.But Tony had to kill him for his own bullshit. Ralph his top earner over a horse that he didn't kill,Furio a total badass had to go just because Tony's wife had a crush on him but it's ok for Tony to cheat on her every episode,Tony B blown away because he rather side with Phil the man who would go on to virtually wipe out Tony's crew. All those guys were great characters and it would have been great to see them in action against Phill & New York. One of many great scenes in the Sopranos, authentic acting by gandollfini and frank vincent, full of great craft and experience, you can actually belive that this is how business is done in the world of the mafia, no sympathy or empathy, its all just about the money or how they like to say in the show: "its business".
    The Sopranos in my eyes gave us the audience a school for the real life, to witness the dark side of society and its actions through david chases eyes.

    Why was the Lupertazzi Family the only one from New York that was in Tony's New Jersey Business? Was it just for the sake of storytelling and keeping the plot simple and less drawn out? I know there was mention of the Columbos in some episodes but the majority of the New York storylines only focused on The Lupertazzi clan.

    • @rrt4511
      @rrt4511 7 лет назад +5

      small hands, thats why

    • @Robin-kp1nv
      @Robin-kp1nv 7 лет назад

      I have a feeling that out of the 5 families in the Sopranos only the Lupertazzis had a fictional name.
      4 other families probably were real life 5 families in the Sopranos universe including Colombos (since they were mentioned) Gambinos (since they mentioned Gotti) and 2 others.
      So then the question is who are the Lupertazzis real life equivalent. Some other said Genovese. But maybe it's Lucchese? Both start with Lu. Who knows.
      So if that's the case, then essentially it could get tricky if they would bring in more of the five families and with their real life faction names as well.

    • @MrDts1907
      @MrDts1907 7 лет назад +2

      Tony's family is based on the Lucchese Family's Jersey Crew, as he is based on Michael Taccetta. So I guess it was easier to use that setting and apply it rather than involving in the other families. The Lupertazzis were like the Lucchese Family whereas DeMeo Family (or Soprano Family) were their Jersey Crew, which is almost like a family on its own.
