- F-15A in War Thunder remained at 12.3 after BR changes making it basically the best 12.3 Jet in the game. F-15A is extremely capable in uptiers and is a straight up beast at 11.3 downtier.

I'm not gonna be surprised if F-15 gets moved up to other jets at 12.7. Of course we're getting new FOX-3s this year so it's gonna definitely go up. So enjoy it while it sits at 12.3 and basically destroys everything.
F-15A Loadout:
Expert crew, 600m targeting
20 minutes + 3 Drop Tanks
AIM-9M x4, AIM-7M x4
Air Targets Belt
Flares Only or Mixed (Depends on if you're planning to play at altitude or not)

Everyone has been talking about, or hyping, the SU-27 since the update. To be honest, the SU-27 is the new plane that I've played the least since the last update. Good missiles, no doubt, but kinda boring. I enjoy playing the F-15 and Gripen much more; shame about some of the US-dominant teams though :(.
Su-27 is more missile dependent than F-15, yes. F-15 is much more responsive and energy efficient.
f15 bodies most aircraft and it being able to fight literally mig 23's is just dumb
i completely outclass most enemy fighters in my f15
that all i need to do is target the other f15's and now i will just run circles around the other jets
Yeah , its better now , but factor american team with 50% ppl in rockets/bomb phantoms and other half grinded their entire tech tree with phantoms and f15 becomes much worse , team like this can be deleted under 4 minutes (tested)... best strategy is to play with someone in russian or sweden jet so you dont get in team with more american jets

I mean yes, the brs of most aircraft at 12.3 got raised to 12.7. So now F-15 faces less scary competition.
Under that generic logic, the Me 262 A-1/U4 is a good plane, or basically any other plane that has a couple of decent stats on it is a good plane, which is a deliberate lie.
The F-15 is great at 12.3 yeah, but it's barely 12.7 flesh, like the M4K which was unfairly raised.

I can start grinding f16, f15, and f14, I think ima do the f15 instead of the 16
I get a lot of 12.7 games out of 25 games I only got 3 11.3 games and 6 11.7 games the rest were 12.3 and up it performs good at 12.3 when it goes to 12.7 it does ok
It depends on time of the day honestly. In the evening when there’s more players I got more uptiers than in the day.
Got dozens games on mig23 and every game we had 1-4 F15. Every. Fucking. Game.

Which is better: buy F15А first, and then buy F16A and C, or immediately buy F16A, play on it, and open F16C faster?
I would recommend you to buy F-15 first. It does everything pretty well and has good missiles.

They do, but you need to flare in sunflower pattern with a change in direction
I have been struggling hard with the f-15 and even moreso the f-16c. Whats ur strategy when you enter a match? Great vid! 🙌🏼
I play on 15 and 16 close to standard. I go left in the beginning and usually stick to the ground.
I do pre-flare a lot. Even if there are no enemies nearby I usually drop some flares just in case.
In every head-on it’s best to pre-flare too. Missiles right now have a tendency to lag and appear out of nowhere, so it’s best to drop flares, not just a single one, when going head-on.
Generally I try to stay fast and avoid any kind of dogfighting when there are a lot of enemies in the match. Usually I loiter around for longer to engage later and from a different angle than most of my team. But it does depend.

Any tips for wing ripped off problem for F-15A guys :( ?
I would recommend performing maneuvers at high speeds exclusively with a keyboard. Wing Rip is most common in maneuvers that combines pitch inputs with rudder or roll. If the situation requires pitch + roll the roll keybind should be tapped and not constantly held.

Can’t wait for the Aim120s. My guess is, that when they’re gonna release them on the f15 it will be up tiered to 12.7. And it will defo be better than the su27, if it’s able to carry a lot of them
the F-15A won't carry AMRAAMs, even though it is supposed to be a MSIP (Multi-Stage Improvement Program) which indeed can use them, it doesn't have the radar of said program to use AIM-120s.
We'll have to wait for the american F-15C (not the same as the japanese), which its guaranteed to have JHMCS (HMD), AMRAAMs and the famous +20% thrust.
I'm betting on Gaijin doing the same thing with F-15s and Su-27s as they did with MiG-29s. Basically they'll add new variant of F-15 and Su-27 that are capable of carrying new fox-3s.

Welp it’s the best at 12.3 rn. Uptier proof and nothing really can counter it at lower brs.

Haven't tried it in a long while. It does look good on paper. But muh american teams can be disappointing.
I hope that the developer will not see this video and the F-15 will remain on 12.3
