    This hobby is an addiction itself. Drugs got nothing on a planted tank.

    that Micro pellia looks cool a lot like seaweed you would find in the ocean... it looks like it would give a cool effect to nano tanks. I hope that and all of the other special mosses end up on your web site.

    The gel is ok for moss. But for Anubias ( as recommended by many) is no go. Not as the only way. You still need string.

    I attached moss to the branches on my wood but it hasn't stuck to the wood, it's now lifting away from the wood? What am I doing wrong??

    • @bluebowser3121
      @bluebowser3121 7 лет назад +1

      Does the wood have a surface area to grip? Also some moss grows extremely slowly therefore needs more time to stick.

    • @iian_
      @iian_ 7 лет назад

      tie it down with some very thin sewing thread, the thread will eventually just degrade or will covered by the plants

    • @samanthastickling720
      @samanthastickling720 7 лет назад

      There maybe inch thick branches. I used fine fishing line on some and glue on the others as a test. I've had the same issues before so I tested a few different methods when I re-scaped.
      It needs a trim but I'm pretty sure once I trim it the wood will just be exposed again.
      I've had planted tanks for 8yrs and it's a recurring issue. I must be doing something wrong 🙈

    • @samanthastickling720
      @samanthastickling720 7 лет назад

      H2O Plants it's Christmas moss and Java moss. I used super glue and the fishing line was just thin line I pinched from my BF's fishing gear. It's doesn't look like it's taken to the wood at all tbh.

    Does fissidens fontanus have the capability to over take a tanks walls and hob filters like java moss can? I don't want a moss that will do that.

    I've always had really bad luck with moss and it always ends up dying on me. ='(
    I'm buying some new lights next week so hopefully the next batch of moss I get grow like crazy instead of dying on me.

    • @sidl8698
      @sidl8698 7 лет назад

      yea its sweet once it takes hold. Best way to get the most bank for your buck is by using the blender method with the portion you get. You can essentially cover a peace of driftwood and increase your portion by what i would say is 1000% at least!!!! Within one month.
