I have one myself and it's nice and very affordable. But the bigger filter is much louder and the lighting like you said is alright and the Aquarium is put together very well💪🤜🤛💯👍

Great job! I'm planning on upgrading from a 30 gallon to a 55gallon. I do believe that I will get the top fin kit. Petsmart has it on sale for $129.99 until April 7th.

Nice review.I have a lot of Topfin tanks. And yes lights not real bright.I customize all my tanks with glass lids and accuclear filters usually. Sometimes you can substitute florescent for leds on lights. Still got bettas? My favorite
It is so easy to customize a tank if need be! I do still have bettas! Can't be without them! 😀
I recognize the platies and some of the tetras but what are the other species in your tank?
I also payed supper cheap for this tank I got it for so cheap and I love it and it's really nice I would also recommend it

I got this tank for a community set up, I don’t know if yours is defective or mine, because the lights on mine are blinding bright.

They are really chill fish, they do get more excited if they see me with a bowl, then they know they are getting live or frozen food. That fish in the corner is my golden wonder killifish. She is a trouble maker, I originally got her as a breeding pair and the male was soooo gorgeous. Unfortunately, she decided he looked more like food. 😒

Just wondering why would you remove your heater? Why not just set it to the target temperature and leave it in the tank it will turn off and on as needed. Not judging just genuinely curious.
Is the filter very good , or are there better kits out there.
I have this aquarium and the light is too bright for my fish, its a 50 watt and so I want to take a bulb out but I don’t know how

Have you ever changed the lighting? My light bar went out and I can't find a replacement. It doesn't seem the lights come out of the black connectors that hold it to the lid.
Brett Leatherman it does come out. There should be a little snap right there next to the light. Careful it doesn’t fall into the water. Happened to me but it doesn’t shock.
Has anyone been able to successfully replace the lid and light here?
The filter that comes with the 20 gallon is quiet but it’s definitely not the greatest out there. I highly recommend picking up something nicer. I have a Seachem Tidal 55 in mine and it cleans the tank so much better. Get rid of the cartridges and use other filter media too.

my top fin 20 gallon has a tetra brand lid because the top fin lid broke and the fish are glofish they are thriving there is a castle and shipwreck and a rock and coral and a green plant and a I have a Glofish Clyde light on the front side my fish are just beasts

UnicornLPS Tube Bettas need at Very minimum 125 Gallons each
Ignore the guy who is being sarcastic. Remember google or bing is your friend and you can find most answers to fish questions with a search. To answer your question however is a big yes! A betta should have at least 2.5 gallon but getting it up to a 5 gallon is even better. The bigger the tank the easier to clean as well. If you get a 5 gallon it will be easier to have live plants, proper lighting, proper filter, & proper heater. I've noticed smaller aquariums tend to have cheaper quality lights, filters, ect.
However if it's too expensive they also sell 3 gallon, 3.5 gallon, and although not commonly 4 gallon tanks.

I just did my first water change and the filter is now noisy. Like not SUPER noisy but it ain't silent no more. What gives? Any ideas?
What type of noise is it making? I know mine makes a bit of noise for the first few minutes after getting filled and turned back on.
How do you change the color? It says the can turn from white to blue
I'm not aware of a color change feature for this tank, although mine is a few years old, so they may have changed it up a bit.

Can you help me? I just got this tank for Christmas and the filter is driving me crazy! It’s vibrating super loudly. Do you have any ideas on how to fix it or what’s wrong with it?
Did you fill the filter with water before turning it on?
@@rogeliocano9536 Yes I did. My sister has the same fish tank as me except hers is a 10 while mine is a 20. Hers doesn’t vibrate or anything at all. But for some reason mine does.

@@x5x993 No I didn’t fix the one that came with the tank. I decided to get a 30 gallon fluval aqua clear power filter. It works wonders. I added a bit of Vaseline/petroleum jelly to the axel rod piece in the pump and it is silent as a mouse. I’m super happy with it and I’ve had it since January. I recommend it if your having trouble with yours still. It’s a bit pricey like 30 dollars but it’s good.

That is one of my oldest fish, at about 8 years old now and the last of the school I started out with. They typically only live about 5 years, and I thought about getting more when the last of his buddies passed away, but they can be nippers and I was too afraid he'd get picked on.

Isn’t the tank overstocked? I have 8 tetras in a 20 gallon and have read that’s plenty.
