    Yes, she is a REALLY good teacher. I'm currently taking microbiology with her and actually being in the class is 10x better than the videos. She makes you actually want to learn the material. I just watch the videos to make studying easier.

    Wow my prof makes this SOOOOO intentionally hard and out of reach. I have spent hours trying to understand this by reading but without much luck. By listening to this I actually understood a lot more than I imagined. Wish you were my instructor too.
    Thank you

    I had to pause the video to tell you that after hours of reading the text (which is great still!) to study for my 6 week intensive microbio class aka super rushed lectures of one chapter per hour, multiple times throughout you videos, I experience that "click" where it all makes sense! You have a great way of presenting and explaining things on a student level, and it's especially helpful that with each new concept, you explain the importance, relevance, and relation to what was previously learned. This was a ramble, but basically thank you!

    Dr. Parker is awesome!!! Wish I had discovered her before this Chapter, would have made my grade better and would have had a greater understanding. I actually like "learning" Micro now! Thank you so much Dr. Parker!

    Mentioning the phagocytized antigens, from chapter 17, in the clonal selection of B cells is what I needed for this to make sense. Thanks for tying the 2 chapters together.

    Is this why some colds last longer, or is worst than others? Because they're new strains of the cold virus so your immune system don't remember them, thus, not killing it off faster?

    • @turnerc23
      @turnerc23 10 лет назад

      "Cold virus" is a generic term for a virus that causes cold symptoms. There are countless cold viruses.
