I started working in Ford parts at dealership back in the late 60,s I remember those tune up kits TK 1 was for most 8 cylinder cars TK 6 was for 6 cylinder cars, this reminded of a lot of good memories I worked for Ford Parts for 35 years until I retired

Nice large collection, well displayed, good lighting, grouping, just really neat! The graphics in all that advertising back then was so attractive and optimistic. Paint on steel doesn't hurt either. I'd be thrilled to find a gas price sign like that! For me there is an attractive esthetic for aged and rusty, time ridden junk, the attached memories are a plus.

Very cool collection many different brands and variety of things you no longer see. Brought back a lot of memories from when I was a kid and would see some of these items on store shelves or at farm auctions when you go snooping around as a kid into people's barns and garages very 😎 cool thanks for sharing

Recently I started selling my collection on eBay I mean it was nothing like this but it was definitely a joy picking and finding these items usually for free. Now retired I'm passing them on

I’m surprised you don’t have a Jayhawk Oil or Buick specific cans. One of my favorite cans is a 35ish gallon Buick Hypoid Gear Lubricant can. It’s teal and orange. I collect cans that have cars or characters on then. I like your collection, big fan of non-perfection

What a great tour of a super collection, Mr. G.P. I collect the same things for the same reasons you described, but have about 1% of what you have. A few of the same items.
LOL your story on the gas sign brought a big smile ... hauling stuff from one pile to another priceless. Its in your DNA (somewhere). My Grampa's, my dad and 2 of his sons were trouble shooters and good technicians. My maternal Grandpa was a trouble shooter for GM back in the 30-40 area.

That’s super awesome, especially like the paints because I’ve been a painter for the past 30 years, that’s pretty cool stuff. One thought though, that stuff that’s highly volatile the pellets starting fluid, that could possibly become unstable and ignite or something, if it were me I’d empty that stuff, I’m Mr. safety though.

Pretty impressive display. If you had a can of ARCO Graphite oil tho...
I was working at an Arco gas station when they came out with graphite oil.
When I got done stocking the first case of that stuff I couldn’t get my hands clean.

Heard of colol sae 10w from standard oil comp of Kentucky/ chevron? Having super hard time finding, big bunch of legal issues with standard but can’t find anything on this can of oil I have…

I display them as they are found. If they are sealed, as long as they are not leaking, I don't empty them

That's one I've never heard of. I don't have any at this time.
