Henrie looks stunning in these braids 🤩 and Rachel is glowing as always!
You both have such lovely and fun energy!!! And can't wait to try this, looks damn goooood!
The best way to cut an onion to minimize the tear flow is to wet a paper towel and put it on your cutting board. The onion fumes get sucked up by the paper towel. Works like a charm!
Although I eat meat, your channel makes me want to incorporate more vegan food in my regimen. Keep up with the good work✊✊✊
Whew! This looks amazing. Congrats on your new book!
I’m wishing everyone who clicked on this channel nothing but LONG LIFE & PROSPERITY💰☀️🌎
Learned a thing or two just from the way you blend those herbs 🌿 and spices. Thanks and Blessings.🙌 #Bullet
Girl I'm not vegan & I don't follow people like that but I wondered what happened to you? I am going to purchase ur book! Good 2 c u!
This was such a fun demo!! Can’t espy to whip up some of your recipes
Y’all are so fabulous and charismatic! Love you Rachel! 💛
Looks amazing, will definitely be trying this! 🤤
That looks so delicious! Can't wait xx
Got my copy of cookbook #2 last week and.......oh mama, I'm planning some meals for cooler weather. Thank you for such a(nother) lovely book!
First of all: the energy in this video was just *next level* ! I love how you two interacted and how much it added to the recipe!
Secondly, I just bought my first canned jackfruit so it might be a great idea to actually try this recipe instead of the most popular bbq one! I am only worried I will not be bale to get my hands on all the ingredients... Caribbean cuisine seems to be using certain elements I have no access to but at the same time, your dishes seem so worth finding them (even online)!
.
Anyways, congrats on the book! An incredible idea and beautiful end result!
Sending you lots and lots of love!
Looks so good! I cannot wait to give this recipe a try!😋😋
This was so fun to watch Rachel and Henriv😊
I changed up the recipe a bit based on what I had in my kitchen but OMG SO GOOD! I ate my curry with plantain 😋
Such a great job Rachel :) Congratulations on your new book !
This was so much fun!
Wow. I have to try this! Thank you💗

Congrats on your new book!! Ordering it soon!!
This was the first thing I made from your book and it rocks. I’m not sure about the knife and fork business just pick it up and smash it down & congratulations on another stellar book.
I've been waiting for this!
Congratulations on your New Book and I will be buying it for sure!❤
I've been following most of this protocol and in a month my IGG for HSV2 went from a 3.67 to a 2.9 !!!! Time to go hard with this shit and knock it out . Thank you #doctororias ,
I have worn contact lenses all my life until a cataracr op recently. Never had a problem cutting onions. After the op I am crying like the rest of you. I have ordered some onion goggles.
Scotch bonnet for breakfast, Henri. What a woman
Just ordered your new book, can't wait to try this meal at home. XO
Really enjoyed I love henri and you guys’ vibe😍
Wow, I grew up on Jackfruit and didn't know I could cook it. Amazing recipes. I found your website by googling and loving it. Enjoying your great sense of humor.

Best way to cut an onion? With the Swedish Alligator Chopper! The one in stainless steel rocks, and I'm afraid I love it 😍
They are both beautiful
I am such a whimp with spice lol 😆 I feel like I need to step my game up! Those patties look delicious!!! 😋😋🤩💛🤗

😍Looks so yummy🤤
It is try it 😋
You two look gorgeous!
Hey Queens, looking good!
Edit: Don't have an oven but I'm sure its delicious.
The premise of this cook book is amazing! Cannot wait to use it :D x
I recognise Henri without the silver wig!
Stunning is correct!!
What was that song at the end? Definitely need that in my life.
to chop an onion without tears it's about breathing through the mouth.
if you only breath through the mouth no tears, just one sniff will being the tears.
it is hard to cook without smelling but one sniff of chopped onion will bring the tears, it is hard to not smell how it's going but if you concentrate on keeping the nose closed and only taking air through the mouth no tears!
(I know it sounds mad but it works)
Love your videos n cityofpixels Dubai 👌👌
She’s doing good in the kitchen she’s so mean to herself aw
full time bad girl HAHAH need to remember that 🤣🖤
Hi Rachel,
Love your channel and energy. As my family and I are new to the plant base lifestyle. Woo-hoo! Quick question does your new cook book offer beautiful illustrations to go along with the recipes? As well as any of your other cookbooks? I'm a visual person and I like to see pictures.
Yes for the majority, then a few here and there are simply the recipes. It's honestly such a great cookbook and like yourself I'm big on the visual aspect too. Especially when it comes to a freaking cookbook! Lol let me see what this all looks like
💜
I love the new video format! This recipie looks so delicious minus the scotch bonet I cant handle the heat ;( but would love to make this recipie with everything else!
You both look beautiful love to see it!
Re. the onions, I was told to put the cut side face down as much as possible to reduce the amount of chemicals or enzymes or whatever that's in the onion from reaching your eyes. I feel like it helps.
I cook that with beans, rice, peas, carrots!
Delightful video
Rachel, ur such a star! I would love for you to share you're vegan story and also how you get your hair soooo slick!!!
It would be great if you made jollof rice!
FIVE OR SIX!!!
I love your videos, I’d love to see a hair video you’re so gorgeous! 😍😍😍
In ‘Like Water for Chocolate,’ they say to put a piece of onion on your head and you won’t cry when cutting them.
had me in the 1st 2 words
Stunning beauty
Best way to cut an onion? Do it near a fridge with the top and bottom of it open. The cold and moisture seems to dissipate the smell and no more tears.
Are the measurements listed online somewhere?
😋😋📝👍🏾❤
Though the flavor of curry Jackfruit might be on, it doesn't have any significant protein. What can you do to add the missing protein in the dish? I was reading that Jackfruit seeds could be eaten. I don't know the flavor of the seeds (whether nutty or bitter) could they be added in some way to the dish? Or what else could be used to compliment the dish?
Isn’t that what the black eye peas are for?
@@miaallen6119 Missed that.
Were' Henrie's link?
i'm tryna figure out what's sweeter:The food that was cooked or these two melanated queens
Hi Rachel! Could you post/list all the recipes names of your new cookbook? I'm trying to decide if I should buy it or not... thank you for all you do
Cold onions hurt less because it’s an enzyme that’s being released in a gas form and hurting your eyes . The root is supposed to have more so ig cut that last .
Great vid.. need to work on sound levels
Putting a wet paper towel near by.
Get the onion that doesn’t make you cry
This comment probably won't get seen, but the best way to not cry when chopping onions is to give them a quick rinse in hot water (after peeling).
Rachel ama you make videos you should have been a model. Both of your ladies are gorgeous goddesses.
#DRALAHOOLU
It looks amazing. However, patties are all about the crust; this crust does not look flaky like a patty crust. This looks almost like a calzone.
what's madras?
A Spicy Curry Sauce, Lol! They use lots of chilli powder, I believe. We're all learning and growing.
Double trouble in the kitchen
I would love to date a woman who can cook vegan foods like this. As long as I'm with her I would be content and wouldn't pick up meat again. The food you makes here looks delicious 😋
are they twins
the best way to cut an onion is with a knife, a spoon won't work...
Purchased One Pot 3 Ways. Bought the Kindle copy. I have a clutter issue. Regarding The Fruit Jackfruit patties. Do you use organic Spelt for patties? The whit flour turns to sugar faster than the spelt. Plus white flour has chemicals in it and you know our food in general is GMO and contains pesticides. Wish you could emphasize organic when there is no other good product to use. We are going insane from these chemicals. We need to be reminded that health comes from food with nutrients, no GMO and no chemical additives. Also, sugar weakens our immune system. Please emphasize that in your meal preparation. Thanks!
I couldn’t understand what they were saying during the question portion of the video.
Jack fruit is disgusting. Just by itself. To me it taste like a spoiled mango/pineapple and and with a cantelope texture. Super disappointing.
Way to much work to get to the edible part. And then it's just yuck.
But if your using as a meat substitute and cooking it I'm sure it's better than eating it as a fruit.
it soaks up everything its cooked in so you lose that slightly spoiled taste you mention.
am I crazy or is this greenscreen
Rachel is too thin
why are yous shouting 😭
