EXCELLENT. You’re the ONLY tutorial on here that shows the actual chords Phil plays. I understand that other channel either want to make the song accessible to newer musicians or themselves are not capable of adequately demonstrating these chords, but I’m thankful this channel exists for those who want to push themselves beyond the same structures we play on almost every song. 30 seconds in I was kicking myself for not recognizing the Collective Soul chords we used to use a lot in worship in the early 2000s. But I can be forgiven since every song seems to be in G capo x these days. Anyway, well done. Subbed!
Hey that's great to hear! I do like the chord voicing that Phil uses on a lot of his songs. He tunes his guitar down a lot and plays B shapes chords as well. Great song and really fun to play! If you want to learn the easy G capo x version I have that as well! :) ruclips.net/video/vo3B04iKtp4/видео.html
Thank you for playing the same chord voicings that Wickham does! This video is so much more informative than the "tutorials" that tell you to play in first position.
Dude - one of the best acoustic guitar tutorials I've seen in a while. Thanks for taking the time to create and post....it saved me some practice/prep time.
