@@seasonalwriter8558 😂😂😂
Because he's talented 🤩...
Fr I thought he was american when I watched the show😭
He's like two different people depending on the accent
@HazyHunter wow no need to be so sarcastic
@@darigamedelkanova3712 what like when you switch to another language when I switch from my native czech to english I sound like some snob from rich family.
ikrrrrrrr
@HazyHunter You need a hug?
Naur he is austhalian
"we're all naturally insecure?"
i laughed so hard
same
lowkey agree tho
hahaha me too. classic adam hills
No Australians, just like it’s so funny like that where like we make everything a question, we like go very high at the end of each sentence and it’s weird because Americans kind of make it a statement because Australians, I like worried that we’re gonna get it wrong like the answer is two???
Where Americans would be like the answer is two .😂😂
@@olympiamitsiou5025 oh I knew he was referencing something. Adam hills, yes! Legend.
Omg I love his accent but he was so good in Ginny and Georgia but I literally didn’t even know he was Australian. I can’t believe how many likes on this comment I got thanks everyone!
oh?
Same

same thats actually crazy?????
He's damn handsome
If Marcus had that accent in the show he wouldn't be depressed anymore 😆
my thoughts exactly
😂😂😂
Dead 💀

I'm Australian and didn't even know Felix was a fellow Aussie. Well played. Great American accent, mate.
same hereee
You and me both. I never watched neighbours when he was in it. I’m a home and away gal. 😯
@@queenhybridxo1595 I don't watch Neighbours either or Home & Away so I really have no idea about our young up and coming Aussie Actors/Actresses
same like what
felix’s american accent is so good
I think you mean his Australian accent is soo good
@@pepperpop6041 no his american accent is good because his aussie accent is real and the american accent is just for the show
He’s not the only Aussie on the show. The kid who plays Austin is also Australian and he does a fantastic job hiding it too.
whAT austin is australian too? thats awesome i had no idea
Ok but as an Aussie there is definitely a difference to my ears from when he’s naturally speaking with his Australian accent to when he’s putting on an Australian accent 🤣
Yeah. I think we all do that more put on accent when we think about it too much 🤣 My accent depends on who I'm talking to honestly. I remember my sister having to tone down her more broad accent when she went to uni so that people didn't constantly comment on it 🤦🏻♀️
Hahaha same
Apart from the 'R's' ('Arr' for the Yanks vs 'Ahh' for the Aussies), in yelling scenes for Poms (Brits.. UK) & Aussies, you can sometimes detect their native accent or at least one that they're not representing (eg. Gary Oldman playing Jim Gordon in Dark Night, he was yelling on a roof top & you can kinda hear nearly a quasi Aussie accent at the end).
I'd only imagine sticking to an accent that's not your own could be incredibly difficult when yelling. But then, some people do it with ease
Love his acting, and he is always so likeable on videos 🥺
ya
as an aussie, the 'we're all naturally insecure?' line GOT ME SO BAD 😂😂😂
When he changes his accent he feels like a different person I’m blown away
for some reason accents seem like such impressive skills for me, like i'm so shocked whenever felix casually goes from aussie to american
Hmmm
He's so FINE
Literally what I came here to say 😂 The whole time I was watching Ginny and Georgia that's all I can say to myself every time he was on the screen lol!
100%
He’s a well spoken Australian, who can speak like the average Joe Blow at the pub or speak like an LA American. That takes talent
it's so crazy how many different types of American accents he can do! The way he's saying these lines are no the same way he says them in show! It's wild!! My mind is blown!! I found out he was Australian when season 1 came out & I couldn't believe it! He's SO GOOD at it
I'm British and I could listen to the Aussie accent all day.
Edit: and I love watching Bondi Rescue.
idk about the other people but the same literally goes for the british accent ( coming from an aussie ) 💓
i think i speak for all europeans when i say that we LOVE both british and australian accents👀
Idk what is it about the way Aussie people say no(nour) but I have the potential to listen to it 10 times a day 😂
"gets me redy for the day to be an american"
I like his lips
Mans got 2 different voices and i love it!!! ✨
His character reminds me so much of a young Johnny Depp...
He has to hear that constantly!
Those James Dean eyes😍
This was actually really interesting and insightful, the nerd in me wants his thoughts on and English accent
Felix is so cute with his natural accent but, America accent is very good.
Seeing this video, it feels like he is faking the aussie accent. that is how good his american accent is.
Thought the same 😂😂😂😂
bro is just so attractive
He's Australian 🇦🇺 ?
I love this content 🤩 The first thing I did was search Marcus after season 1 and was very surprised to find out he's Australian.
Rachel Griffiths from Brothers and Sisters is too. Lol and Matthew Rys is Welsh, but he did good too. They were very believable as American siblings.
A+ for Felix!
i’m british and the american accent is so easy to do i don’t get why people find it so mind blowing when someone does it
I used to have a friend whose from liverpool and she’d always ask how to do an american accent bc she couldn’t do it so she had a scouse accent
Congratulations...anything else? or are you done being different
americans have many different accents lmao every state has different dialect and accents
i feel like many people overdo the american accent as long as you act like youre an actual american its easy lol (as an aussie)
@@3RACHASUPREMACY what?

Omg I love him so much! This is really cool! I'm so glad he's still got a strong Aussie accent but also his American one is very accurate! I'd love to hear his British accent! Hahaha I feel like we speak with a mixture of the two countries over here.
Nah, the Australians are the ones that speak with a mix of both accents. And I say that as an American. Even him in this interview there were lots of words that he pronounced with a pretty close pronunciation of American accent.
Of course he is Australian they all look like that. They all look perfect. pretty and so hard not to look at. Look at the Hemsworths. Ugh
He was so good on Ginny and Georgia that it sounds like he's putting on an Australian accent for this video
“I’m Felix Lee Yongbok … a lot of people don’t realise I’m Australian because you’ve only heard me speak Korean”
I love how he can easily switch his accent
He is the next big thing. He is very serious and very concerned and very genuinely involved in becoming a good actor
100%
He’s got a depth to him that others lack.
Great now I'm pregnant😏
HES SO GODDAMN FINE
“We’re all naturally insecure” yeah we are.
I swear every single felix is somehow australian, I think it's a common name there 😭
I'm Australian & I know precisely one Felix (also, one Felicity).
I'm Australian and I've never met a Felix lol
It's a really cool name! Are u a stay 👀 by any chance
felix from skz
Am I the only one with a crush on Marcus? 😍 I wish he was real
As a non-native speaker of English who goes for an American accent I can totally relate to him.
It’s the fact during the Sophomore Sleepover episode that the Australian accent is his own accent just more dramatic of how Americans impersonate Australian accents…..
his explanation about the difference accents is very fascinating.
Aussie actors are amazing at being able to switch their accent. There's so many who've ended up in popular shows/movies that I never knew were Aussies til I heard them in interviews - Felix, Simon Baker, Margot Robbie etc... I'm Kiwi so can hear the Aussie accent easily so it's incredible seeing them in characrter and having no idea. That takes alot of talent to do that.
Why it’s literally two different voices
because it is 😱😱😱
0:58 this is what i've been saying ! as a kiwi i think of our vowels to be very closed whereas as american vowels are very open
He can def play skeet Ulrich’s son in something!
i thought i was the only one who thought he looked like skeet!
@@trashfireididd im glad I’m not the only one!! great minds think alike!! 🙂
I didnt even know he was an aussie!
He did really well. I had no clue he wasn't American while watching.
Felix's american accent is so good i knew he was Australian though as he was in the aussie soap neighbours which i watched and loved I miss it so much
He looks completely different when speaking American accent😮 he’s talented
Oh wow. Felix was incredible playing Marcus. Well done sir! Just finished season 2 of G&G. So bummed it’s over. I got so into all the characters.. especially Ginny & Marcus. Cried my eyes out during some of their scenes. Can’t wait for season 3 (fingers crosssed)!!!
But to be honest I thought he was an English actor before I searched him up.
I love his antive Australian accent and I didn't have a clue that was an Aussie till I heard his interviews. Being Swedish, our teachers want us to learn the British accent, however when working and living in London with a lot of Australians, I found that the Australian accent is very easy to learn as well we both go up at the end of a sentence where the BE and AE accents is flat. The AE accent, on the other hand, is a tuff cookie to crack indeed
100% had no clue he was Australian!
Thank you, from a Swedish woman, for teaching me how to speak in an American accent. I've already mastered the Aussie accent
Me an Australian trying to do the hard r's followed by consonants, he's right I have to say it so slowly lol
At this point I feel like his real accent is fake
He’s an Felix person of course he’s an Aussie…omg😂😂❤. The second felix who we never knew was an Aussie. Is all Felix an Aussie?😭🤣
stay? 😸
@@brwnieanqie yes😊

GOT ME CHOKING KN AIR TBH 💀💀✨
I’m Aussie, and when he said “when we question something the last part goes up” and I said “really?” And I was like “oh. Yup I see.”
He’s a good actor, but i hope we will see him in more complicated roles.
The girl who played Abby revealed the most layers to her character. It was like they put a non-actor in with a bunch of actors and told her to say what she was thinking. Believing her was effortless.
His accent is legitimately brilliant on it, could have never guessed he’s Aussie
goddammit everything about Australia is so goofy always, I love it
he’s such a good actor, one of my fave characters for sure :)
why is this man so fine? Oh Lord
Damn .. Why No talking about how handsome he's? ..
He's so handsome... look like skam Herman tommeraas...
Oh my gosh I had no clue he was Australian this is mind blowing I love him even more
I grew up watching this kid on Neighbours and felt so Aussie proud seeing him on this series 😊
He is so entertaining!i really love this guy ❤❤❤ i just love watching him the whole day.😊
my best friend is Australian and the first time i met her i kept answering her and getting confused bc everything sounded like she was asking a question😭
Am I trippin’ or does felix’s voice get deeper whenever he speaks in his Australian accent??
He sounds more American than most Americans
Enjoyed this. Felix you should study phonetics and phonology, you’d be good at it!
why did i iiterally never know he was aussie
I love him
@@lilymath1150 now I’m sad too 😂
I love your analysis. There are lots of similarities with Spanish from the Americas. In regards of the part of the mouth or throat used. My first language is Spanish and living in USA. When I first moved here, I also exercised my mouth by talking in the morning through my clinched teeth making me use all the perioral muscles to better enunciate. Is fun to see someone thoughtful smart explaining something I figured out on my own with no a ting training or public speaking experience 20 years ago when I moved here and people were struck by my accent. I work in a fast paced high service kind of life or death where communication is important. Thank you
Im from Australia and i loveeee Felix (i grew up with neighbours and remeber him sooo much ben was my fave from neighbours)
I’m Aussie and had no idea he was Australian wow he’s American accent is so believable
same
I had no idea you wasn’t born in the US lol. Just like Andrew Lincoln on the walking dead. The first time I heard him talk in an interview I said what ?? Lol. You both are so good with the voices !
Wonderful Cast Member,Best of Luck in your Future and Best of health (no motorcycle accidents, lol!)
He is so cute. I'd never guess he was Australian. He hides his accent very well but I love Australian accents.❤❤
As an Aussie it freaks me out when I found out certain actors are Australian. 🤣
Some of the lines the writers gave him were ridiculous 😂 almost purposefully difficult.
I watched Felix on Neighbours so was really impressed with his American accent in Ginny and Georgia
He’s really good at putting on an American accent, his explanation of the tongue placement between the two is really helpful (though I can’t do any decent accents other than my own) I can hear the difference when I move mine where he said 👍
It’s crazy cause he sounds so young to me when he does the American accent and older when he does his regular Australian. My brain wants to think it’s 2 different people talking which is why I didn’t believe he was Australian at first.
Wow, I'm not American but his accent completely fooled me. I would have never guessed he wasn't. Well done.
Felix=🐐🐐
I love Ginny&Georgia, I’m also an ST fan so (for some reason) I also thought of Dacre Montgomery
Im used to Felix’s Australian accent bcs i watched happy together in my spare time, its actually a good show
The thing about Australians being naturally insecure😂😂😭😭😭🙌🏾❤️
POV: you knew Felix was Australian because you watched him on neighbours for years. 🤣
Anyone know him from his Neighbours' days as the grandson of iconic couple Susan & Karl Kennedy, Ben?
Yes! Ben Kirk
@@ykook7000 Bingo dude!
As a fellow Aussie he completely fooled me with the accent
SAME I WAS SOO COMFUSED AS AN AUSSIE TOO
This is amazing! He makes it look so easy! It kind of reminds me of Spencer from All American. Like hes British but pulls off an american accent so well! ♥
I’m putting Felix in the same group as Andrew Garfield. You’re telling me these men are NOT American?
Yes. He is beautiful.
Garfield is actually American born there
