As everyone should be!! Lol. It was a chilly 92 or so degrees in the garage while I was finally getting around to doing all of this stuff, lol. And look at that sexy AI generated landscape in the photo!? LOL

Bro I needa share bc I learned a lot from u as a fellow maro owner. Any time u bring car to dealer try to make it as clear as possible to them to check ur steering and everything and anything that has to do with the electrical systems of the steering (or what they can access without labor) bc the scariest thing happened to the zl1 last night.. my steering wheel completely locked up while doing a u turn, go to find out it’s not technically a recall ,yet, but it’s a bulletin for our Camaros and their electric systems. My research has found that even after the issues get fixed and serviced the problem comes back… idk what to think or do.. my car was at 13k miles and I take care of it like on an autisticcc level or perfection. Scariest thing that ever happened to me stay safe

O wow.. that's wild! Lucky you didn't end up wrecking with something like that happening! Has the dealer said anything on it?

Do u got any vids where u show how u use ur hydrollic jack, where u place it on the bottom and line it up

I made this video when I set it up and used it for the first time, ruclips.net/video/F3_UhQpJNBE/видео.html. I use it to lift at the pinch welds where I have zl1addons pinch weld lift blocks installed. I will probably do a QuickJack follow up video soon and can show exactly where I have the blocks but to sum it up.. I have the front blocks clamped to the second pinch weld opening back from the front and then the reat pinch weld openings.

Oh and btw the car didn’t get fuvcked, well I bet some of the steering did and suspension etc but I didn’t crash luckily, but I’m not driving that car for awhile now ain’t no way😂

That's good at least... but yeah, def need to see what's going on. Maybe an unrelated electrical issue causing side effect problems with other systems like the steering.

See some people mention steering lock up issues in this thread, www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=494764. Some mention a loose connector in the steering wheel. Also found this thread, www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=485889. Also see mention of bad or loose ground wire.

I see this in the second thread a few pages in:
"Update on my steering situation; Dealer called back today said they found the problem, apparently the wiring harness that goes from the SCM (steering control module) to the ECM (Engine Control Module) had a short in the wire that communicates the steering status to the ECM. Whenever this would drop out the power steering motor would shut off momentarily until the signal returned, basically no power steering. I pick up the car tomorrow so hopefully I can put this to bed once and for all. Hope this helps someone else diagnose their steering issue."
