Quite a few theories on Peacemaker will be interesting to see the explanation. Are we just completely changing Peacemaker and following the new DCU one? Is The DCEU Peacemaker jumping to the DCU were there will be two Peacemakers? Is the image just throwing us off and actually we're just following the same Peacemaker as before and they just retcon the old Justice League cameo? Will be interesting to find out in S2.

I think you could be right about Kumail being on the shortlist but not confirmed as Gunn hasn't flat out debunked his name specifically
