  • Part 2 : Here are some basic methods that ive learnt from others on the water and a few tricks of my own...Happy fishing people RIDETHATFISH 🏇🏆🎣 was actually using a blood knot in this video ! bare with me whilst i continue my mistakes lol

    Hey nice video. I use a very similar rig but I tie a shock leader onto my braid a couple of meters long then tie my swivel then to the rig.

      Normally you fish 1 hour on each side of the high and low tide. But if you fish from the boat if you find the whole where they are sitting and put a presentable bait down you can catch them any time of the day. Hope that helps

    Awesome videos!!! Ive been learning heaps. Just a quick question on sinkers. What weights do you normally use and do you go heavier as the tide starts running faster? Ive been up to the hawksbury 3 times now and ive got live yellowtail for bait but still havnt been able to convert them to jewies 😣😣

    Better hook up rate if you cut the tail of the double uni super short? Yeah cause they won’t see the massive swivel next to it 😂

    Great Video mate. One question. Wouldn’t the running swivel be tearing up the main line when it’s sliding?

    Great tips mate.. wondering what you look for on the bottom when choosing a spot? You obviously anchor and dont drift? Thanks again

      too be honest i got to places I've been where I've been lucky to land fish, but usually i look for little dredges and drop-offs that hold bait ! best of luck mate

Any other tip videos coming up soon.. one on tides/times/moon would be really appreciated cos fuck I have no idea on any of that mate geez..

      @@markgrenfell3368 I asked him a while back he told me not to worry about the phase and just fish an hour on each side of the high and low tide. Or in a boat you can catch them if you fun the wholes they are sitting when the tide change finishes.

    Hi there, mate I have caught quite a few Jew in the Hawkesbury and I would say 95% have all been gut hooked... can't really think of any jaw hooked, maybe some really small one's while fishing for bream.. why do you think this is and what have you found. I think because the water is racing and not that clear that they just engulf the bait before any other Jew gets it. What do you think?

    Hi Nice videos I v been using the same rig or very similar at the beach.Do you think its okay rig for the beach?I use about 85cm to 1.3 meter of trace and a star sinker with line to a ring.(would this be okay)I haven't been jew fishing long.

    Its just a uni knot. Double uni is for line to line joining. But you actually did a bood knot.

      Uni knot is not only for line to line I use uni knot on all my lures but plastics I use loop knot

    Why don’t you just use the running sinker clips? I know it’s personal preference but isn’t it easier just asking ?
