Great tips again Bobby, with your help I think I'm just about ready to ride that fish mate. Good luck with your fishing and hope plenty of winners come your way.
Normally you fish 1 hour on each side of the high and low tide. But if you fish from the boat if you find the whole where they are sitting and put a presentable bait down you can catch them any time of the day. Hope that helps
Hi there, mate I have caught quite a few Jew in the Hawkesbury and I would say 95% have all been gut hooked... can't really think of any jaw hooked, maybe some really small one's while fishing for bream.. why do you think this is and what have you found. I think because the water is racing and not that clear that they just engulf the bait before any other Jew gets it. What do you think?
Great stuff mate love your videos. If possible can you do a vid on marine maps contour lines, eddies etc and how to find possible grounds. Cheers mate keep up the good work
too be honest i got to places I've been where I've been lucky to land fish, but usually i look for little dredges and drop-offs that hold bait ! best of luck mate
@@RIDETHATFISH thanks mate. It's tough being from out west fishing fresh and making the change too salt. But the lower hawksbury is now my spot so doing my best to learn. Any other tip videos coming up soon.. one on tides/times/moon would be really appreciated cos fuck I have no idea on any of that mate geez.. Good job and thanks again for the reply
@@markgrenfell3368 I asked him a while back he told me not to worry about the phase and just fish an hour on each side of the high and low tide. Or in a boat you can catch them if you fun the wholes they are sitting when the tide change finishes.
Hi Nice videos I v been using the same rig or very similar at the beach.Do you think its okay rig for the beach?I use about 85cm to 1.3 meter of trace and a star sinker with line to a ring.(would this be okay)I haven't been jew fishing long.
Awesome videos!!! Ive been learning heaps. Just a quick question on sinkers. What weights do you normally use and do you go heavier as the tide starts running faster? Ive been up to the hawksbury 3 times now and ive got live yellowtail for bait but still havnt been able to convert them to jewies 😣😣
Cheers Bobby! I love the snap lock on the sinker great idea! Let us know if u want to get some drone footage of your awsome looking boat, iv hit u up on instagram anyways @markj_official Keep the videos coming Bobby! 👌👌👌

Another great vid, thanks!
Great tips mate.. wondering what you look for on the bottom when choosing a spot? You obviously anchor and dont drift? Thanks again

Is the rig shown in this video good for drifting too??

Tim Fish a lot shorter leader bud so ime told
@@RIDETHATFISH thanks
Isn't that a locked half blood knot not a double uni ??
Awesome your sharing your knowledge dude 👌 maybe keep a little bin for your offcuts of line instead of throwing them in the river 👍
yeah i do mate ! was too busy thinking about the video to be honest...
@@RIDETHATFISH good on ya mate 👌 awesome vids keep up the good work!
CRAKKA VIDEO BOBBY
👌👌👌👌👌👌
your a champ not many will share there secrets ,, legrnd
Normally what people keep secretive is the spots
Normally it is the spots gun fishos are secretive about
Hey nice video. I use a very similar rig but I tie a shock leader onto my braid a couple of meters long then tie my swivel then to the rig.
Great vid bud 👌
Are you using braid or mono for your mainline?
Nice. N ya good lesson n ya cool boat pls bro
Rgds
Pompeii
Better hook up rate if you cut the tail of the double uni super short? Yeah cause they won’t see the massive swivel next to it 😂

Chris H usually 6 ounce snapper leads chris
That's how it's done that's a great video PS you did throw done trim into the water but corrected yourself well done 👍
Great Video mate. One question. Wouldn’t the running swivel be tearing up the main line when it’s sliding?
no it works well mate
@@RIDETHATFISH ok great. Thanks.
Thats a locked blood knot, good vid
james williams hahah thanks James ✌🏻
Nice video. Can you do one for kingies?
Ross Dewberry haven’t mastered those yet hahah but will do a video soon on them ✌🏻
I shared it with a few friends👍
Hey mate, really liking your videos, keep em coming. Also where did you get your rod holders from? cheers
Thanks for sharing legend
sam ates my pleasure
Thanks for the tip 👍.
Love the video! Always wondered what gear you use! How many kilos can your rod or a rod in general handle?
25-35kg
Where u fish mate
How do you tie your double uniknot?
Good tips. New subscriber.
Is jewfish your favourite fish to catch
Cheers Bobby! I love the snap lock on the sinker great idea! Let us know if u want to get some drone footage of your awsome looking boat, iv hit u up on instagram anyways @markj_official
Keep the videos coming Bobby! 👌👌👌
legend
Drone footage be cool on a hook up
Sorry meant GREAT vid
Why don’t you just use the running sinker clips? I know it’s personal preference but isn’t it easier just asking ?
runner sinker clips always get caught on braid !
You have beautiful nails how do yu keep them so nice and fish too 😄😄😃😃😃😃😃😄
Its just a uni knot. Double uni is for line to line joining. But you actually did a bood knot.
Uni knot is not only for line to line I use uni knot on all my lures but plastics I use loop knot
@@dannysoria6143 I specified DOUBLE uni !!!
Thanks but I lost so many dews they snap me of all the time
Hey bud, just so you know that’s a blood knot not a double uni knot
hahah yeah still learning this video stuff
You’re doing beautifully bro, keep them coming 👍🏼
Why dont you tie leader to braid the. Leader onto the swivel? And also your doing a blood knot not a double uni man
cheers mate ! thats how i do it and it works great ,tight lines
RIDETHATFISH if its going good perfect man but i found that braid slips on metal. Tight lines matey
I am going for jewfish now
