The infra red bit on the key is for total opening and closing of the windows... point it at the sensor on the door handle and hold down lock/unlock to close/open all windows
Think the floor is higher up, maybe like the older a class where the engine is supposed to go under the driver in a hard front end crash instead of destroying your legs.
That boot floor rises up to be flush for easy loading of big items 😊 most probably why it was sticking slightly in that front area. I had thr A class , loved it 😊
I too have a dodgy back/disc and was considering buying one of these because they appear to have a more upright seating position which I thought would be easier to get in and out of. But you're right, the floor height is quite high so your legs are stretched out in front of you and (for me) this was uncomfortable. I ended up buying a quirky Peugeot 1007 with the electric doors, high roof line and very low floor, an utter godsend and a doddle to get in and out of. Love the way you speak btw, you'd make a great DJ with those mellifluous tones. 😎
I like the B-class, this one looks nice in red ( thought it looked brown at first). I was going to guess the mileage at 115,000, this car looks like it has been looked after with those DIY jobs.
2 non-brand Chinese tyres £120 2 acceptable mid-range £140 2 premium, Goodyear/Bridgestone/Hankook £160 Why save less than half a tank of fuel costs to drive the next 30,000 miles with - higher fuel consumption - longer wet and dry braking - more road noise - less comfort - worse cornering Why? Just to save £40 on 2 tyres... People deserve what they get!
You’ve got some decent muscles on those arms for a busy man , how do you find the time to get them like that or does the motor industry give you those with no effort required ?
Merc badge doesn't mean anything now, poor reliability and build quality now, compared with 20 years ago. Even people in Blackpool, considered a poor area are driving round in one.
@@danielmosey6203 compared with a £500 merc, it’s still pretty damn expensive , which was the point I was making. There is always someone pedantic enough to miss the point in these comments
It’s funny. Citroen Picasso / Renault scenic copied here by merc. My friend had a scenic 1.6 petrol as a firms car x reg 2000 year 1.6 petrol twin sunroof. Bought it for his wife. Then now retired has it as main transport. Done 180k miles. All electrics work and drives well. Think this style car very practical and great family transport. I test drove a 2nd hand one many years ago an auto and I really liked it. Ithink will sell easily. Not everyone got 10k to spend. Ideal kid transport, roomy and probably quite safe? I think mercs and BMWs are no longer the best cars.
Opening with "not too bad of a looking car really is it?"... is this a rhetorical question or sarcasm? Because, to be honest, yes, yes it is a bad looking car... and it's brown!! 🤣
If it's £500 and 20 years old then it's not going to be a good car is it? That's common sense. It would make half that in Scrap value. Bodywork is not bad for a 20 yr old car, I bet it's got a lot of issues though.
I believe it is illegal for anyone to drive a car like this (in brown) under the age of 60. I do hope the local constabulary don't get to see this. A grey wig next time?🧓

i once bought a car with Happy Gallop tyres on it, never seen the brand since but what a great name!!!
Haha, yeah I’ve seen those before too!

Had a gas automatic one here in Canada. Great at first, then turned in to a money pit. Traded it in on a Grand Caravan….GREAT truck. 🇨🇦🇨🇦
yes that is the cars you should be buying 100% profit and more , the only thing is the rust but being a merc you have the realiabilty .

A real bargain and definitely worth spending a few quid on to get the niggles sorted. Good video as usual.
That was a really nice example and would make for a cheap Mercedes.

Love these cars, especially a manual.
Another great video Joe 👍
Thanks 👍
Loved my b class tho found seats were cheap feeling and let the car down. Love the colour.

Absolute steal for £500 in this day and age. Look a lovely little, well cared for car

No matter how sultry that intro music and sweeping panoramic shots you are never going to sex up a Mercedes B class.. Still a great vid tho Joe
Cheap premium brand that with Jordans valeting will look very smart. Regas the A/C and get it sold 😊
I had one of these recently sold it and made €400 profit on it !
Hi joe interesting one. There seems to be a potential proffit on this one
Nice to know that Mercedes does hire some exterior designers with extremely low vision.
Oops, I read your whiteboard behind you in the office at 25:51, my bad!
£500 , 43 mpg , Mercedes badge! Considering the new Vauxhall Astra costs £42k this is a bargain.
£42k for an Astra?
@@paulgray2387 Yup, looks like some heavy discounting going on now. Astra Hybrid 2023 going at around £35k. Full electric one £42k 😂😂

So a standard Astra is not £42k then. Why talk sh*t?

I actually quite like the B class....even thinking about having one as a cheap second run around
I don't want to come across as picky, but the AA sign was reversed, it really spoiled what was otherwise a fairly interesting video.
🙃
Haha, sorry about that, I’ll ask the wind to blow the other way next time! 😅
I thought your favourite words were ‘to be fair’…!
‘That’s a bonus’ is a strong contender
What's with the porn music at the beginning 😂🙃🤪
why so picky? its a chaep car
