Okay hopefully we're back now with regular uploads and all new content.. episode 8 will be posted next week. Don't worry lol, I don't plan on going anywhere now!! But if you can't wait for next week, the whole season is up on my Patreon, 5x8 5x9 and 5x10: www.patreon.com/DarkerImageStudio/posts?filters%5Btag%5D=TLK%20Early%20Access Plus the full length to the movie too is there: www.patreon.com/DarkerImageStudio/posts?filters%5Btag%5D=Movie%20Reactions
I didn't feel a thing for her. Not even when she lost her "seer" child. How many innocents were slaughtered when that child chose them. Throats sliced open. Jesus. Bridal did that. She became a worthless hateful character.
Notice how they did a Viking ship burial for Sigtryggr like the Anglo Saxon one found at Sutton Hoo in UK?! The warrior buried in a ship in a huge mound with the warrior's horse and other important possessions. 07:00 - I don't get how people can be sure Aelfwynn is Erik's daughter. I mean wasn't Aethelflaed having to sleep with Aethelred at the time as well or were they already apart by then? She must've been with Aethelred at that time too otherwise he wouldn't only be doubting he wasn't the father - he'd always have said he *definitely* couldn't have been. Then the show had him acknowledge her as his daughter on his death bed so I took that as the show wanting us to believe that.
Killing Brida off was actually a very clever writing choice. She was so close to redeeming herself after every horrible thing she'd done up to that point, only for it to completely be wasted in a moment of another character's blind rage. Her death came out of nowhere, yet somehow her story ended perfectly.
The changes made to Brida by the show were interesting. I don't really blame the show either, because it did feel a little creepy that Bernard Cornwell transformed Brida when she went bad into this nasty-looking old hag that had little girls blinded to make them seers. It just seemed like Cornwell was portraying it as "young and pretty = good, old and ugly = evil" (with only one exception in Skade), which...yeah, I'm willing to bet the show recognized as a bad thing to put out there, especially since Uhtred isn't aged up nearly to that level, and made the change because of the creepiness. I also kind of appreciated that they made Brida a bit more three-dimensional in the show as someone driven mad by grief from all the losses in her life. But...yeah, it was time for her to go.
I’ve been watching ur shit for a long time but one thing I notice you don’t post movie reactions.. I think many people will be interested to see u watch some of the new shit including me
@Gnossiene Maybe you should read my latest community post lol I go into a little more detail there. But it's really got nothing to do with the setup/screen. I got into the habit a long time ago of removing the video picture whenever it gets copyright blocked/claimed. But lately, it's been audio that's been the issue. Plus FYI, I do have loads of stuff filmed.. lol
I don't think it was terrible but at the same time it wasn't great either, Uhtred was good, the problem was the new characters weren't properly developed had the film instead been a sixth season, even if it'd have only been 8 episodes I think it would've been great, as it stands I think 7 kings must die is just okay, not great, not terrible, better than the game of thrones finale at least.
I hated Brida the actress that played her was horrible to me they should have killed her 2 seasons ago but how can u blame his daughter look all the shit she's done I feel bad for Uthred but oh well bye

When Uhtred cries, we ALL cry
The fact that they made me cry for Brida after EVERYTHING she did is a testament to the writing 👏👏

"She was Aethelfeld's daughter... the fact that her father was a Great Dane..."
*giggles hysterically at the thought of Aelfwyn being half dog*

@@SiTHFuRioN When will Ep8,9,10 and Movie be posted. Hopefully not too long now.
@adam ezzedine we're back to weekly content now!
Banshee when?
Begged for mercy for the woman that mutilated him. That's pure faith and love right there.
Yeah, I don't think so.
@@dwnkaomwn3953 I never said I agreed with it. How else can you explain it, though? That comes from his faith in his god. The teachings of his church.
Just a stupid boy blinded by a false sense of superiority.
@@Heather61776 Yes you get this today when you see deeply Christian people forgive perpetrators of serious crimes against them in court.
"stiorra is gonna be a problem". She rid their world of a murderous devil. Stiorra is a hero.
I did not shed a tear for Brida, she needed to die or else her terror would have never ended.
The tears for Brida from most of us I think comes for Uhtred's pain.
All of this and the movie was terrible. I know you already saw it.
It wasn't terrible at all, just too rushed. It's a great ending for Uthred imo
