Yeah vocals can be tough but you can actually overlay them sometimes but at that point you can probably just set your cues to know when the vocals are coming in and really start to study the waveforms this was just a tech demo pretty much with four channels so nothing was perfect @Chris-x7i5o
It will never be perfect that is the thing, when you see silly haters reply when they have apple music like mixes, or one track after another with no actual "mix" you know that they can't dj or mix. OR if it's too perfect, it's pre recorded in ableton. It happens a lot. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you will have to do a pre recorded mix and that is okay. Free style mixing imo is the way to go when applicable. If someone has music going back to back like apple music or spotify it's clearly apparent they cannot mix or have the ability to create their own VIPs. The entire process is a long one but you'll get it, one day you'll wake up and it will all make sense. Just keep practicing @Chris-x7i5o
I need to get some techno to mix, looks fun.
It's amazing when you find the right tracks that go great together. Free style mixes can be tricky especially using all 4 channels.
@@Ghost.uppercutI've been free styling UK hardcore mostly, more recently with 3 decks. But it can go very wrong quickly when everyone starts singing.

@@Ghost.uppercutBeing perfect is pretty difficult, I definitely enjoyed it though.
