Go to Settings> System> Navigation mode. There you have your choice of gesture navigation or the 3-button navigation you are used to.

What is significance of first row of apps on app screen? They seem to be there randomly.

As an old man who was used to an iPhone, I hate this Pixel 8 that I just bought. Apparently, it's true that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. 😂 But seriously, I have problems receiving my Yahoo emails, I don't knw how to transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop, and I don't know what I don't know. I just wish there was a Pixel class for real beginners like me. I'm just about ready to ditch this phone and go back to an iPhone.
That's not the phones fault though. That's yahoos fault. To transfer you can use Google photos or plug in the phone to the computer. Android isn't as hard as it seems
@@Matthew1Rawling thank you. Unfortunately, nothing happens when I plug the phone into my laptop. The phone is recognized but I can't access the pictures. When I connected my old iPhone the pictures immediately came up with a message asking if I wanted to import them. It was definitely easier

Stupid answer. Computers have a back button and all iPhones have a back button when surfing the internet. It's true that you can go into settings and change the phone to have a back button but you did not give that as a possible fix.@@Matthew1Rawling

I bought Google pixle 8. As it was good reviews on it. Never in my whole life I got such low quality phone. Everyday something is not working properly. Mobile is only 2 months old..
In watsapp can't edit the text, it's slow reaction and many other similar problem with its software. I'm deeply regret my purchase. I choosed a more expensive phone to have some quality.. Honestly cheaper androids on market are much better... Such bad phone👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
