Wasted dribbling = wrong shot = ugly game. In the early 00s they had fundamentals , Tmac wasnt fading away on every shot, Pierce wasnt stepping back all the time, they used to call Kobe a ball hog but he wasnt dribbling the ball for 15 secs to get to his spot. VC you see the dunks but also had a simplified game when needed.

    Niggas gotta pay respect.

It was 19 yrs ago now 2004 Orlando Magic were at the Los Angeles Lakers. Tracy McGrady was lighting the Lakers up halftime Tracy 21 pts,Kobe Bryant 1 pt,then in second half Kobe got hot himself ,stood up to TMAC,Kobe finished 38 pts,Tracy 37 pts. Kobe was one of the few who could match TMAC in scoring,a year older better defender.

You can tell it's a major difference in philosophies when it comes to move making.
Trainers = set up dribble, set up dribble, set up dribble, shot
NBA players = 1-3 dribble move, shoot or pass.
