Y’all make this look so easy 😭😭
Right 😭. It got all on my fingers but not my nails 🥴
Righttt
I swear 😭
@@yeahisaidthat961 do u all think that I should order it and try it? Now idk if its a good idea if i have never DIYed my manicure before T-T i expected it to be easy to do (with a bit of practice ofc, but not too much! I was hoping for max of 1 or 2 failed nails until i get a hang of it ;-; )
@@novaexx6587 I think you should purchase one, but if you do- they may be pricey, but it’s worth it. I have a poly gel kit which was around 35-40$. It was difficult at first, but I almost have it down. An easy method instead of this is to put the poly gel on your nail, then put the dual form on your nail then move it around until the poly gel is all on your nail. This helps me so much! Good luck. :)
On my first try it was amazing like I couldn’t believe it it was perfect but then the other 9 nails sucked
😂 it do be like that sometimes
Just like pancakes 🥞 😵
I can totally relate!

i did these nails a few weeks ago! for everyone wondering, yes, they last a long time (3 weeks for me). they were super easy to apply for a first timer. highly recommend
Thanks! Can you use the dual forms more than once?
@@emmahanus2291 yes! if there's still a little polygel on them from last time, just clean it off and ur ready to go. I usually just clean them with some water and soap.
😔 im just starting. I did these, and they lasted 3 days 😑 what am i doing wrong? And how thick do they have to be?
@@evapena3517 make sure to buff your nails before. also, you have to do a base coat before the polygel or else it won’t stick. the nails should be kind of thick, kind of see thru, but not too see thru. after u cure them, u should do at least two top gel coats. idk but that’s what i usually do and it works pretty well :)
@@TheDramakiddo ohhhh ok. I wasn't putting the base coat! 🤦 ok. Im going to keep trying. Thank you so much- 😁
For anyone wanting to try, it’s easy once you start to get into it and it’s not hard to clean up/fix any mistakes you make on your nail . I just tried for the first time and they came out great. I made some mistakes and had to fill in some but it wasn’t hard at all, just make sure you have a finger nail clipper. I cured my nail on both sides each time and it made it pretty sturdy and allowed for it to pop off with no issues
where did u get it from? and do u have an e drill ? no
did u have to use a led lamp ?? or uv lamp?
@@martinaoviedo1127 I got mine from amazon. I have a drill but I like using the nail file more
@@jossylaines2842 yes, you have to use a LED or UV lamp for it to cure. I got mine from amazon
@@brooklin1591 Hi. I wanted to buy a polygel nail kit for the first time but I have never gotten my nail extensions done before (not even from a salon). This is my first time. I have seen many videos for application and removal of polygel. But the removal process scares me because filing down so close to the nail is scary. And I have seen many people complain that their nails start paining once the polygel comes off. So I had seen another video that suggested to grow out the polygel nails instead of removing them (it takes time to grow the nail out, but I don't want extensions all the time since I play piano so I am fine with all the wait too).
So can what do you suggest? And can you give me some tips on the removal...like the best way to remove it and how to not make the nails pain etc.
It would be really really helpful.
(Sorry for the language. English is not my mother tongue.)
Also another tips for us beginners don’t cure them at the end after you’ve done an entire hand trust me you will mess up at least one best to flash cure each nail and then do a final big cure of all the nails together
How long should a flash cure be in ur opinion? Just 30 seconds on the top side?
Lauren Veronin I usually do 30 but I hope someone else who’s more experienced comments bc I wonder the same thing
Lauren Veronin i do 90 seconds
How do you take them off when you dont want them on anymore?
Madi Jade most are soak off so I usually file as much as I feel comfortable with and then soak off the rest
That mess up in the beginning was so helpful honestly I can see myself doing that same thing & now I won’t. 😂‼️💜💪🏽
I’m glad someone found it useful, I wasn’t sure if I was even gonna leave that in there. But I’m glad it helped!!
@@NailsByVic ممكن اسم ماشاء بلاء زحمه حبيبتي
I noticed u didnt use the base coat or cure them in the end
A tip for any beginners. Make sure you leave a small space between your polygel & cuticle. Otherwise you run the risk of flooding your cuticle! They will start to lift way too soon. She put hers way too close to the cuticle.
lol actually no
if you flood your cuticles it’ll look funky yes but i’ve NEVER had lifting from it. prep is where you need to focus to avoid lifting. and it’s actually NOT the cuticles being flooded babe. it’s the eponychium 👌🏽
and as long as you work fast and have a good polygel that doesn’t melt and flood into the eponychium you’re fine without the gap.
@@hazeibarra1953 lol ok babe.
@@hazeibarra1953 I prep as much as I can. Doing all the steps I need to do, and everytime I end up flooding my cuticles and it lifts in like 4-5 days. It sucks!
I just bought some better dual forms and I just did a dried flower set with crystals. I would love for you to see them💖💖
Yess send me a pic on my insta @victoria__dest💕💕
i want to see 😭 can you send them to me too?!!
I wish RUclips had a way for commenters to share pics lol
Liberty did what? I was literally thinking of that earlier 😳

Here's a tip ! : I like to put on short tips if people have their natural nails too short because it makes it sooo much easier to clean underneath the nail and spread the poly gel. I also use clips to secure the nail while i cure it since it can lift up during the process and leave air bubbles, i don't worry to much about the gel gushing out on the sides since i can always file it down with a sharp point electric filer (if u don't have this, clips or just a regular filing tool works) =) hope this helps for many of u
I've tried it and was bussy for 3 thours and after that i had a mental breakdown🥲🙂 but i'm happy with the results and how longer you try how better they will look and now it takes me just a 1 hour❤
You make polygel look so easy! I tried polygel both ways, tips and dual forms. My problems with tips is that I can never form a good apex for my nails so the overall shape looks weird. My problem with dual forms is that smoothing the underside of the nail without moving the dual form. I guess the only way to get better is w/practice. I'm thinking about buying a practice hand as well
hi! to help with your dual form problem, i’d advise that once you’ve put the form on and secured it (yk the usual) cure the top first for 30 seconds, this makes it a bit firmer and when you flip the nail to do the underside you won’t have to worry about it off
*falling off
@@mofem3241 Tsym! I'll have to try it and lyk how it worked
@@lillyx743 you can also buy these little clips they make to hold them in place
Purchase you some nail clips.. thank me later
Instructions are well put together!!! Thank you ❤️ really helped me
You make the application look so easy, I’ve used polygel a couple of times and I wasn’t a fan of the stickiness but I think I’ll give it another try
Next time you try them, after they are cured for the final time, and are still kinda sticky...use rubbing alcohol. 90% alcohol on a paper towel, and it will take the sticky layer off. You can also just use the alcohol as your slip solution too. Also helps with stickiness.
I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT VID
Girl I am binge watching your videos I am loving your nail work!! So good
I picked up a polygel kit for my boyfriend's daughter, she's 8. I knew she was going to need a good tutorial to understand the basics. Your video and teaching are perfect!! Not many people explain the details as well as you do. Thanks a bunch for considering people like us ❣️
girl i love the nails on the other handddd🔥🔥
Because you’re human sweetie! We not perfect but they still came out nice ♥️♥️
Love it, so pretty!! I like that you really don’t need polish
I DID IT!!! I DID IT!!! And they look soooo good!! Ur tutorial worked wonders!!!
I love it. I recently purchase some a polygel kit and can't wait to try them. Thank You for sharing ❤️
i did the same mistake as you putting it on the wrong end n noticed when i finished one hand 😩 i was wondering y it was so difficult to use
Yep that happens sometimes I’m just glad I noticed before I did anything. But at least now you know😂
This was so helpful. Doing poly gel nails for the first time and I love them sm🥹❤️
All of all the videos I've watched yours has been the most most helpful
Those are beautiful sunshine, I'm heading to Amazon to find them and I'll be sure to use your links♥ Thank you ♥
Just switched from tips to poly gel because I think the cuticle looks better with poly gel. This was super helpful
I like it they look natural too 💗
All these videos I keep seeing of poly gel nails make it look so easy! I really want to order a kit but I just know I’m going to waste all of the gel messing up over and over. It looks so good though when done right 🥺😭
I am a first timer. I got a set and I can not wait to use it tomorrow. I'm praying it turns out the way I imagine 🤞🏽
It's time for me to invest in an e-file

Roxanne Reynolds Funny enough, I just purchased one a few minutes ago! I got a cheap one since I’m a beginner.
Laura Calderon I saw theirs! They had really good reviews. I ended up going with something a little cheaper (there was a flash sale on amazon) but they’re definitely a sure purchase next time.
@@hyosomoo1437 I'm a beginner too and I got mine about a month ago. It was 24 dollars and I love it (buts probably cause I've never had a different one lol)
I just ordered a Jiasheng polygel kit on amazon it was super cheap to say it came with everything except a uv led lamp. I thought it was hard it now looks easy thanks for making this video.
i used polygel for the first time today and they turned out pretty good for my first time but was super hard to work with. i’m so glad i watched this video i didn’t realize i could use alcohol!! this video was great!!
I just did my left hand and I'm so excited!!!!! However, I'm going to take these off cause of course I didn't get it correct the 1st time. So tomorrow I'll do them all over.
Shaquan Yesss it’s all about practice, I believe in you because really it’s not easy when you first try it. So just keep trying💕💕 and let me know how it turns out!!
Absolutely stunning!! Thank you so much for all your professional tutorials, My Neice turned me on to you. Im so happy to learn from you
I just got my modelones package and I definitely need practice! I was thinking of trying with nails tips...? But some of my fingers didn’t come out too bad! Thank you for all the tutorials. 💘
definitely try with nail tips!! they are better than dual form, i think.
Thanks for the taking the time to show the filing especially around the cuticle. That is often missed in Polygel videos. I found it very helpful. They looked great.
I just bought a polygel nail kit.. You make this LOOK so easy! Bc when I do it, its hard and truly sticky..
It didn't come with any instructions..
Thank you for this video, bc honestly.. I had no idea what the hell I was doing lol.. lol
You have towipe them off with alcohol to remove the stickiness. Then you put the top coat on.
These turned out really nice one of the best I've seen. Thanks for the video
I don't know how many videos I had to go through to get my answer , to file the cuticle part of the dual form to for the nail proper or not to ? Delighted that you answered that for me thank you 😊
My kit is coming in the mail tomorrow! Thank you so much babe for this video!
I hate dual forms so much. Everytime I try it always mess up. It's either some comes out at the tips on my natural nails making it see through or it foes some bullsht at the cuticle
I’m getting my kit and this helped thx
Thank you for this video. It was very helpful to me.
This is good. I am going to try this!
This was very helpful. Thank you
I am a beginner. And I found your video very helpful. You making the mistake also helps so I know to do it on the right side. But my question is when it’s time for a fill do you take them all off or can you use the forms again to fill them in?
Fill in wise u can just add a small dot to cuticle area and very lightly smooth n tap it into place to blend it in and cure it. Re-apply top coat
Exceptional tutorial!
I have a question if you didn’t put enough on do you add it again before you file or after ???
I love your video. So helpful
Oh goodness dual forms for me are so aggravating. The tips are so much better ! I wish I could show you the first time I tried Dual Forms... you’ll cringe 😂
So pretty! How long do they last? How do you remove them ? Are these more durable than false nails and acrylic you think ? 😃
Thanks!! I want to learn how to do nails and this helped a lot!!!❤️
Yay!!
Wow Im totally going to buy these thank you
Thanks you so much for sharing! 🦋🦄💚
Hi what's your name
Wrong end is something I would totally do!😂
do i cure the base coat before i put the polygel on or do i leave it and cure it once the dual form is on?

Fell in love with your vids 💕 u got a new sub here 🥰😍 watching all the way from Belize 🇧🇿 😍 ♥
Thanks for the awesome video! Which file did u use? Would u recommend it? Thanks
How many times can you refill polygel on your nails? Or is it however long you want, like you would going to the salon to get them refilled?
Can I use regular nail harder or strengthening base before applying poly gel?
Lov the mudic
I'm just starting to learn how to use polygel and I want the nails to stay for a long time so is primer needed for prep or can I just use a base coat?
Can you use dip color on top of polygel after your done curing it?
I was told you can you just follow all the steps for polygel and don’t add top cop
Then you follow the steps for dip powder you skip the primer part. Is this true?
I’ve been trying to figure this out
I’ve done it before by my nails seems to not last even a week or pop off.
Wonderful.
I’m over here struggling 😭😭 but I’m going to use your method next time !
Well I'm about to get my first polygel nails kit
Whoaaa what drill bit tip did you start out w?? Iv never seen that type! Xo
Cute!❤
I'm sorry to disturb you are you doing something I'm sorry but my name is Sofia what's your
Let's go I never seen your face before perfume ever seen your videos before
How long do they last compared to regular free hand acrylics?🙂
About to do my lady's nails today. I pretty much have everything. Wish me luck. 😬
Beautiful
Beautiful 😊
Nice set
can you wipe off sticky layer with slip solution? i ordered some polygel but i dont have alcohol at home.
Hi, I wonder what kind of water that you use to dip the brush? is it like normal water, alcohol or nail polish remover?
Did these stay on? Was it your intent to not apply base gel before the dual form? Just curious. :)
I just bought poly gel and the dual forms but I can’t figure out how to get it to stick before curing. They keep rising up at the cuticle. It’s so frustrating
use a clip
@@selinenorstrom then the Polly gel will squeez out making the nail thin at the cuticle and thick around the end and center
How long should the machine dry?
And the transparent liquid soaked in the brush is alcohol?
Late, but I wanted to answer your question. The UV light cures and hardens the polygel, you should cure for 60 seconds and the alcohol is like the monomer of polygel. It is used to form the nail into the desired shape
how did you make yours look thin ? &’. not thick ? do i need to spread POLY gel all the way flat &’ out upon dual form? cause my first two sets felt thick =\ &’ look thick
You can put acrylic in dual forms too for those who have trouble shaping
If you don’t have alcohol can you use slip solution to get stickiness off nails?
How do you keep the dual form to stay down. It kept popping off and slipping and my lamp wouldn’t cure it.
Lawren Carlton that’s something I’ve struggled with in the beginning, make sure you are using the right size of dual form, if it’s too small it won’t stay on the nail, it will just pop back up. And make sure you use the right amount of Polygel, because if you use too much that is what make it slip around more. Dual forms are actually very tricky, and I think using tips is way easier. I hope this helps💕
Nails By Vic thank you❤️
You are so cute! Loved the video. Thank you
You make it look so easy I ruined I don't know how many don't know how many tubes in my 1st kit trying to get these correct, great video I'm a great video and thank you for the tip using the alcohol instead of ordering slip solution.. Question is what about nail prep do you have to have a bottle of the nail prep/dehydrator? When I is trying to do my own nails you may own nails they didn't want to stay on long enough to put under the lamp and someone told me if I put this on the dehydrator nail prep solution stuff that they would stay on.
My mom is going to buy the poly gel set ,and it will be the first I’ve did my nails or any one and bc we are quarantined so this really helped and I will give a up date on my b- day oct 24 💗💗
Update? Did it work good
@@aiylarh7395 lol my mom didn’t buy it🤦🏾♀️
Came for the nails stayed for the vibe
This helped me a lot
I keep getting sticky bits still underneath my nail even after curing underneath too can you tell me how to stop this ? X
How is can she hold the uncured polygel with dual forms on her nails without sliding off or having some bubbles cuz there's no nail clipper?? Mine would just slide off my nail and have bubbles and in it.
What poly gel set would y'all recommend I got mines from Amazon and it sucks
The first song in the background while you start doing nail prep.. what is it called ?!
Finally I found something easy on your channel🤭
Would u say poly gel or acrylic is best for a beginner? I got all this poly gel stuff and got one of those practice hands and it wasn't that easy. I used modelones and it became extremely slippery w the slip solution and was messy. Do u think it was bc I used a mannequin hand? The nails kept popping off too 😩.
