    Wow, cudos to 500 books, that's awesome! There's definitely a few on this list that I've considered picking up myself. Might have to take the initiative and look up if my library has them!

    We have similar tastes in fantasy since I also gave 5 stars to Kings of the Wyld (also didn't rated as high Bloody Rose) and the Night Circus. And i have in bookcase to read Never Die and Sword of Kaigen. Also really liked The Giver but of what i remember i liked more Gathering Blue in the same universe. Regarding the other generas we don't have terms of comparizon since i'm more into science fiction and non-fiction.

      I think you will definitely like Neve Die and Sword of Kaigen then 😊

    I have read almost all of them; good taste, must say. 😊
    Also, I've read The serpent king because you recommended it years ago, and I liked it!

    I'm sure you got more than enough inspirations for your next projects. Hope you share next how you juggle time among your activities such as reading books, writing projects, office/technical job, etc. Cheers, Iasmina! 😍🤓🥰

      If only I had a good answer for that 😅. But yes, I do want to make a video about it, even though I struggle with this too.

    Yeah, so... I kind of credit Wallace's Yes Man with being (one of) the things that helped me get over a lot of my self-doubt. I feel like a lot of my earlier years were marked by a general lack of confidence and imposter syndrome, and it wasn't till I learned that I could generally just say "yes" to opportunities and that I'd likely figure out how to proceed just fine that I really began to make strides in my own career and hobbies. And that's one of the ways I determine if a book gets five stars now -- "Is this a potentially transformative book? Or will it be transformative for someone else?" (It also trips me out that Wallace plays a recurring character in the Assassin's creed games, haha)
    Based on your likes, I'd say you might enjoy The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Historical fiction murder mystery about books, quite good.

      @IasminaEdina  4 месяца назад

      Yeah, Yes Man had a similar impact on me at one point in my life. But then I can't really apply that same principle to most fiction books, because are they transformative? Probably not. Did I enjoy the heck out of reading them? Sure. Also, Shadow of the Wind has been on my TBR for years now, will definitely try to get to it soon 😊.

    Hi Iasmina, I really enjoy best of lists, cause I like to get the inspiration. I read only the Christie's book, which is really good as it's said and I loved it. A few of other mentioned books are on my TBR too. I looked what I reviewed with 5* and gosh do I appear to have loads of classics there, which are hard to recommend if a person's not into it, e.g. Harper Lee's To kill a Mockingbird, Alice Walker's The colour purple, Remarque's Time to live time to die, Bernhard Schlinks's The Reader, Brontes Wuthering Heights, Marquez' Love in the times of cholera or Otcenasek's Romeo, Juliet and Darkness (and you know about Project Hail Mary already). Ray Bradbury is also my new favourite, I really like Something wicked this way comes and 451 Fahrenheit. Or Lady chattterleys lover, Middlemarch...
    Fun fact, I'm reading The catcher in the rye now, which is well loved classic, and I cannot stand it. It bores me or gets on my nerves. Have you read it? So many people like that, it's crazy!

      I hated Catcher in the Rye with a passion the second time i read it, but funnily enough, when i read it in highschool for the first time, i enjoyed it.

    Wow I think I only read one of John Green's books, Will Grayson, Will Grayson and didn't like it at all. Yes I loved Every Day by David Levithan!! Kings of the Wyld was not for me. Eliza and Her Monsters, The Serpent King, and Radio Silence were 1 star for me.
