Yes! They are pretty rare. It is especially rare to see one in action as originally intended. These carburators were even restored by a former Man A Fre employee! Mr. Tim Bowman. Please check out my other videos for a more detailed look! Nick
@@cureforsale I had a Man A Fre on my 62 Corvette for awhile. It was a 327, 12.5 pistons, fuelie heads (2.02s), and a 30-30 Duntov cam. The Man A Fre replaced the original FI and later a single 4 bbl carb. The bottom end torque was amazing but I found I was running out of fuel towards the top of 3rd gear and it just seemed to lay down. I had a Uni-Syn to sync the carbs and this helped some. As I recall, they had a kit to add fuel to the base of each carb to overcome this but I never got one. I changed them out for 2-4bbl and never looked back. Good luck with them...they look awesome and will grab a lot of attention as they are so out of the ordinary.
@@chuckduck516 Awesome! I love a '62 Vette. That would be a perfect use for the Man A Fre. The Milner Coupe and mine also have Camel Hump 2.02 heads. Original matched sets of those aren't too easy to find either. Happy Thanksgiving!
We've had so many issues getting the carburators synced. Finally had the Man A Fre King restore them. Tim Bowman is fantastic. We are using 52 jets now. Look me up on the HAMB. Search American Graffiti.
I don't really have a good 1/4 mile time yet. We have just recently finished tuning everything. The car is finally running strong and well balanced! I would love to try an app. Which one would you recommend? Thanks!
@@cureforsale It’s called Race Stats: Speedo and G force. It simulates a drag race 1/4 mile. It will give you a 0-60 and a couple of other things. It’s really cool! It’s the best rated app.
I'm new at posting videos. Sorry about the music. I'd much rather hear the engine.
It’s gets prettier every time you see it what a beautiful car
Thanks again for the great compliment!
One of my favorite movies and movie soundtracks
I haven't seen a man a fre in many years!

Also, Check out my other videos for more detailed info. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your memories of that bad ass '62 Vette! Nick
@@cureforsale Thanks and the same to you.
A friend bought my 23 T-Bucket (1970 build), Chev powered with 2.02 heads.
Got your headers unplugged. You expecting some action? Seriously, very nice!
Thank you! We're getting there....
What size are the jets and did you use a Uni Syn to balance the carbs? Thank you.

I would push it before I drive a electric vehicle or a rice grinding pos that is a real car
Me too! Thanks for the legendary comment.
All the best! Nick
What does it do on the 1/4 mile..? Just really curious. There is an app that can give your 1/4 ET. You don’t have to go to the strip anymore.
