Awesome stuff Don. Something such as Loc-tite 518 or 5188 anaerobic sealer would be a good choice on those case halves I would guess. Your clamping practices are useful for many things. The lead sheet strips are ideal. It conforms conform nicely to soft metal parts and shields them from radiation all in one shot 😁 How can you go wrong.
The worst part is over, the righthand case is made heavier and deeper, not showing near the warp as the left side. Small things can take considerable time, I removed the locating dowel pins from the right side case taking nearly two hours, they put those in the aluminum for keeps with a steel sleeve. Getting closer to the end of this part.
The ears at the end are close enough to cause no problems, but cutting further is a problem. The right case hopefully will not take much to clean up, compromises all along the way on this, it will never be like new, but I can make it run.
Nice job Don!
I’ll be anxious to see how well the mating faces line up!
You have a really nice machine shop.. nice tooling, very good condition… you must be proud.
Hi, thanks, I always have something to do with this equipment on hand.
Happy Friday Don, I'm in the Tattoo studio this morning, thanks for the machining fix before I go, have a wonderful weekend buddy
Sounds painful! Thanks.

Good stuff. Thank you.
Hello, thanks for tuning in!
Hey Mr Don, hope you are staying warm, freezing my buttocks off here in Orlando, cheers, Paulie Brown
It is still cold here, I am trying to work inside.
Hi Don. The case is looking good, What do you do about the ears that did not clean up? It was -10 degrees and snow here all week in Mich. Thanks
