i dont know if its actually coded into the game but, see where the sand comes out of, maybe it actually has to run over the sand to gain traction, like in real life.
Not yet, I talked about this on there Discord and was told by "I think" one of there Devs/Programmers that it will work like that in time but for now just turning on sander gives the train more traction just for being on but don't quote on this, lol.
That's impressive. Steepest sustained grade we have still active in England is the Lickey Incline and even that's only 1 in 37 (2.65%)
Yeah that's crazy cause I found it funny that even things like 1.2% are considered aggressive.

Can you do the ten percent with a running start lol
I could but running starts vary and dead starts just let me know the limits of the locomotives.
this makes me confused when I first used Class 70.
How so?
You should redo the gradient tests because the physics are more realistic.
Yeah been keeping up with patch notes. Seems like it's time to fire up the test world again.
the highest grade on any of my routes is 6% with lots of cars. FPS is locked at 60. physics is tied to FPS
That's good to know and does it seem to preform better capped at 60?
@@Sevex2020 yea it feels like the tractive effort increases and is more consistant. also play with V-Sync as that is also a factor.
